No doubt. Honestly, I don't give it enough of a chance. Every time I try, I'll fish something unweighted or super finesse like that for about 5 minutes before I just can't take it anymore.
Actually, that gives me an idea for a thread. BRB
I went back and forth about a half dozen times between that and hematoma. As murky as the water usually is for me, it usually pays off for me to stay dark.
Magic craw swirl has been crushing for me this year, too.
OMG I'm dying. I'm so happy you caught it.
Yuuup. Discovered I can't live without L&L when I went to flouro on one of my rigs. That stuff is hateful when it gets a mind to be.
As far as the reel goes, I keep telling myself I'm gonna try something different. One of these days. I may switch it up when I finally break down and get a proper finesse setup.
I just have to learn to enjoy watching paint dry first.
Aw man. I shoulda done that. I only use it on one rig, though, so hopefully what I got'll last me for a little while.
So stoked about that MB Speed Spool.
All jokes aside, Florida Man is far more dangerous than any gator or water moccasin.
There are lots of places here in Tennessee that probably have good fishing, but it's not worth the risk of dealing with the tweakers for me to go and try it.
OP! Forget the knives and just get a spear.

Yes it is.
Honestly, the best thing you can do is just keep an eye out and don't sneak up on one. They don't want any more to do with you than you do with them.
I don't see why not. You can buy Phenix and FMTC blades from Tackle Warehouse. I believe the various lure building sites have stuff like that available, too. Give it a shot.
Literally just opened my box from 6th sense. I got some stuff off their sale page that looked pretty good for how I like to fish.
Quake THUD 70 – Red Proof
Quake THUD 70 – Crawfish Clone
Cloud 9 MiniMag - Gizzard Shad
Cloud 9 C10 - Chrome-Treuse Shad
SplashBack 90 - Shad Greens
Curve 55 - Ghost Missouri Craw
I'm real excited about these THUDs. I love big knockers.
Some dink action before work. Beautiful pattern on this one.
I should add that I caught this on a @Siebert Outdoors dock rocker (off a dock, obvs) with a cut-down Sweet Beaver on the back. Little guy hit it like it called his mama names.
