  1. @RipzLipz I was pretty much over the worst of it a few days after I tested positive. I've still got a productive cough, but that's about all that it left we with. Coulda been way worse, given how jacked up my immune system is. I'm frankly shocked that we were able to evade it until now, given that SWMBO works in a public-facing healthcare job. How 'bout you?
  2. It's an epidemic!
  3. Fwiw, I fish little finesse plastics like that year round. Caught both my PB catfish and small mouth on a TRD in near 70 degree water. Fish love them things year round.
  4. Hard to throw a small paddle tail at water here and not run into one every so often. lol
  5. Doesn't happen often, but today we knocked off early.
  6. I was tired of working, so I went fishing instead. Caught a little smallmouth... ...and a pretty good size white bass.
  7. He probably stopped off for some avocado toast and a chai latte.
  8. Well he's almost an hour late to the jobsite now.
  9. Bro that happened to me too! Wasn't thanksgiving, but I was on vacation with family from out of town. Instead of doing any of the things we planned, we ate takeout and played rummikub all week. It was pretty dope, honestly. Aside from the whole covid thing. The highlight was playing cards against humanity with my mother in law.
  10. Everybody on them boats was sloshed, too. Lot of sloshing going on.
  11. Well that Fit is quite wee.
  12. GM recommends 30 psi on all Corvettes since at least 1997, and that's generally where I keep it for street driving. If I'm on a track I might put an additional 10 or so pounds in, depending on how deep I'm getting into the sidewall in turns.
  13. I love looking at a chubby smallmouth.
  14. Don't forget to rotate your blinker fluid.
  15. @Bankc spitting facts with the wave washers. Ask me how I know. Pro-tip: I stab all the parts that I can into the cardboard. Especially tiny screws.
  16. Preparation! That's what's up.
  17. It happened to me yesterday on the way home from the dentist. Blinked and I found myself chasing skunks at the water's edge.
  18. I mean…who here hasn't taken a wrong turn on the way to where they were supposed to be, only to find themselves fishing?
  19. Everybody does it the first time. Here are some tips to ensure you're successful (this is how I was taught to repair guns and laptops): 1. Find the exploded view of the reel in the manual that came in the box (or on a PDF, which I recommend, because you can zoom in on the diagram) 2. Find a spacious, well-lit work area. Don't do this in the dark on your lap. 3. Find a good-size sheet of cardboard to use as your template. Cut it off a box or whatever. 3. As you disassemble the reel, use that cardboard to store the parts in a replica of that exploded diagram as they're removed and cleaned. This will help you reassemble the reel correctly. You can also use the cardboard to write notes by the parts for a variety of reasons. 4. Take. Your. Time. Haste makes waste. It also loses parts and sends springs rifling across the room.
  20. I dunno what you did when we parted ways that night, but I went home to another whooping for staying out so late. lol
  21. You big liar. I've seen you catch fish in the dark. lol
  22. That's a good lookin' wally you got there.
  23. Well surely to god there's somebody up there that knows how to act.
