  1. I caught my PB smallmouth on a ned rig. I may never set it down again.
  2. Never been pooped on by a bird. I've had just about every substance a fish can excrete all over me at one time or another. Daggum white bass almost ruin a pair of shoes for me every time I fish the spawn.
  3. The stitches can take longer than a month to fully dissolve out.
  4. I fish like this a lot lately. You can tell I'm getting frantic for a bite if I start tying on plugs. - ned rig - shaky head (which, really, is just a big ned rig) - neko rigged worms (see above, just a big ned rig) - unweighted t-rigged or wacky-rigged stick worms - unweighted t-rigged finesse worms or trick worms
  5. Might've been, but I think owls just have RBF.
  6. Ned rigs and weightless senkos, by far.
  7. @dodgeguy v2 is so good. All my finesse rigs get spooled with it.
  8. I don't think we have any pike here, but I caught this little guy yesterday on a stick worm piece on a mushroom head, after he harassed me repeatedly and tore up my worm.
  9. You can get blacklight head lamps.
  10. It's a hard life, being a critter.
  11. @gimruis Neat! I think I see groundhogs more than anything else. Some otter if I'm in the right place, and, very rarely, a beaver, though we can see evidence of them all over. There was one memorable time that one of the cats cornered a chipmunk in the house. The dogs about lost their minds with worry over that.
  12. Gotcha. I kept fighting with myself because of how big that sucker'd be if it was a mink, but I couldn't think of a word for anything that shape and that size.
  13. What is that? A mink?
  14. I'll fish shade lines any time the shade's apparent. There are always shallow fish.
  15. Sup.
  16. You better hope so. You've already paid for them.
  17. Babies are nice and all, but I really wanna hear about these.
  18. You should watch @TnRiver46 crawl across his rig at the ramp. It's like watching a spider monkey. Every time I fish with him I expect to hear David Attenborough narrate.
  19. Semi-rural TN, here. We were a forced to be a bit more civilized, but that only worked as long as somebody was watching us. I'd wear flip flops if I could, but they don't keep the AFO in place like I need.
  20. I need season two of that series to be released already.
  21. Yeah @Catt, I can't stand anything tight on my feet. If It was up to me, I'd just stay barefoot, but I've got to wear an AFO to counteract my floppy foot.
  22. I wear a 13 EEEE, so I've always got skis on whether I'm in the boat or not. For real, though: If it's cold, I wear boots and double up on socks because I'm a huge baby. If it's not cold, I'll just wear sneakers, or Merrell Hydro Mocs (which are like Crocs, but better, because they have a tiny bit more arch support and are always in sport mode). My favorite mocs are matchy-matchy with my favorite jighead color.
  23. @GReb my last couple orders have shipped out of GA, as I recall.
  24. Yessir. Ours are great, even if they have zero respect for personal space. As soon as SWMBO's butt hits the couch, she's covered in dogs. The dogs, I suspect, would describe this as a "feature", instead of a "bug".
  25. "I know that's your sandwich, dad, but – hear me out, okay – what if it was OUR sandwich?"
