  1. At least you'll never get an ear infection.
  2. It's turtles ned rigs all the way down.
  3. I mean, probably it looks like nonsense to anybody that might see past my tint, but I'm in my vehicle roasting everybody else's driving and trying to avoid the people driving Altimas (which are the automotive version of velcro shoes).
  4. Sometimes I change lanes just because I'm tired of looking at the lane I'm in.
  5. If somebody could make a snotless presentation I'd be interested.
  6. One could, if so inclined, use the power ned.
  7. I've not noticed that my hookup ratio is affected, but hook size – which necessitates some thoughts about the type of hook – absolutely affects my confidence level with this presentation. It's safe to say that, with a lot of soft plastics, the secret ingredient is crime secondary action. Given that, I want as little hook going through the plastic as I can get, because I want as much of the plastic free to move as possible. R to L: Mule Fishing Mule Jig (1/16oz head with #4 hook), @Siebert Outdoors Morel Jig (1/16oz with #1 hook), Siebert Outdoors Morel Widegap (1/16oz with 1/0 EWG) The only time I'll ever rig a 3" plastic with a hook as big as that EWG is for this photograph. I use those for 4" or larger plastics like dead ringers or finesse worms. If I have to be weedless, like @Junk Fisherman, I ain't fishing a ned rig.
  8. Harleys with stereos, and the people that ride them.
  9. Yeah, it's down there at the bottom of the mountain. I reckon they just picked the biggest spot they could where they wouldn't have to do any work to make it happen. I think the donut strips on the helipad paint are fitting for the road. lol
  10. Got the morning off, so I took off up the mountain to some water I don't get to see very often. Didn't catch nothin', but it was fun getting up there. I got this before the fog lifted. Also @TnRiver46 here's the emergency helipad I was telling you about yesterday.
  11. Are all yours super loud? I keep mine greased and all that, but they sound like cement mixers.
  12. Yeah, I can dig that. I think the dial lettering wore off both my MPs pretty quick. For what it's worth, the magnetic brake on those is basically an on-off switch. In my experience, anyway. Those reels will very quickly teach you how important a digit your thumb is, in case you had any doubts.
  13. The screen printing's wore off the dial on every Lew's reel I own. I used to worry about it, but I realized that I choose a brake setting by feel about as reliably as I do by looking at the numbers – which is to say poorly – so it don't really matter to me anymore whether they're there or not.
  14. I broke my favorite baitcasting rod in a similar situation. I caught it near the tip with a squarebill I was casting with another rod. I was gutted. Packed my gear up and left for the day. I was done.
  15. I've only ever caught one (very small) walleye. I assumed that the ease I had getting it into the boat was due to its size, but I guess that's just how they do.
  16. That was a humdinger of a summer storm last night. Happy birthday to the missus, btw.
  17. Call that a tumbleweave. I was looking for something entirely different in my imgur account the other day when I ran across a memory from the time I got one caught in my weedeater. I didn't think I'd ever get it unwrapped.
  18. We don't call 'em that down here, but I know a guy that can help you get your fix of these.
  19. I didn't even know that existed. Zoom's got more colors than Carter's got liver pills.
  20. I believe you're correct. I just ordered from there too because I have the self-control of a little zoo monkey.
  21. Nosir. That other site that got autoedited when I posted earlier shows bubblegum Zoom finesse worms in stock.
