  1. I'd drag a heavy 3/4oz + carolina rig through everything i can reach before anything. Fan cast and determine if there is anything you can target. If you prefer not to do that, then casting parallel to the bank is your best bet
  2. Make sure you are tightening by pulling the braid mainline and leader and not the half hitches. When i used half hitches i made the mistake of tightening those too much before pulling the mainline, and the knot would never seat right. Half hitches should just be there for decoration until the mainline is tightened.
  3. id want more on there
  4. I go the opposite route. Baitcasters get 90wt in frame bearings and TSI on spool bearings. Cals tan on gears. Spinning reels get TSI on all bearings. Yamalube (thinner grease) on gears. Thicker oil will probably make it smoother but for me its not something I cared for. I like for the handle in spinning reels to be as free as possible.
  5. This person is straight drop shipping 10000% ... this is insane lol something about this cant be legal ...
  6. Are you fishing for compliments or fish? The Lews may match better but i seriously doubt it will perform as well as the Fuego LT.
  7. I use yo zuri hybrid a lot. Use it because I believe its the best line at its price point and it was far better than anything I had used at the time (although to be fair I never used any premium mono line).
  8. Will never claim to know anyone I haven't spent at least a week with face-to-face
  9. I feel like everyone is looking at a different page here ...
  10. He started a company not a non-profit, he could probably give a bass' ass about what happens once he's cashed the check or else he wouldn't have sold.
  11. just buy the brakes? https://www.ebay.com/itm/353336716264?chn=ps&norover=1&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-117182-37290-0&mkcid=2&mkscid=101&itemid=353336716264&targetid=2299003535995&device=c&mktype=pla&googleloc=9060225&poi=&campaignid=21203633013&mkgroupid=162035688435&rlsatarget=pla-2299003535995&abcId=9407526&merchantid=6323394&gad_source=4&gclid=CjwKCAjw2dG1BhB4EiwA998cqJ2XcHI4ttfiORH8u3wFfKJ6N5_-1x1TnYzODiU4YNLjLxfY2_m6vRoC5DYQAvD_BwE Might be different type of brake, but point is they are pretty cheap and readily available for the most part.
  12. Out of curiosity, what's better about the USDM spool?
  13. Do they manufacture the baits? They look very aliexpressy to me ...
  14. What are you currently fishing? I agree with the above recommendation but I would fish a regular zoom trick worm cut down to 4" and would fish it split shot style using 4lb line.
  15. I wouldn't swap x ship as if it were x ship, it would not follow the speed of the handle due to the gear ratio. AR B might be the culprit. Based on the sound alone though, I agree with the above that this sounds more like something not installed properly. Best bet is to start on the bottom end of the crank and check every single bearing as you go. With that level of sound, if its a bearing you should feel it
  16. My guess would be that its just a stupidly designed keeper hook. Source: Most of what LTB sends is stupidly designed
  17. Yeah that's different from what I was picturing. Im sure someone with more experience will chime in
  18. Upload to youtube and link is the standard method
  19. No issues with YZH here and I honestly respool less often than I should. Have you checked hook eyes?
  20. I didn't read most of the above, but I do have my new Curado MGL next to me and it displays the exact same 1/4" of play before it engages. About 1 out of every 10 attempts does get lucky and gives me no play. The reels are made with the same parts so I really don't see how some can have absolutely no play every single time.
  21. Still waiting on video of the sound. I feel like hearing it will help a lot vs wildly guessing.
  22. Thanks. Now I know its not something I'll be using.
