If I didn't throw a wacky rig or drop-shot, eliminate 75% of the fish I've caught the last 3 years.
My power fishing partner no longer sends me a Christmas card 😂, he despises it.
I've heard some members claim that September can be slow fishing.
It was today, only caught 3 in 4 hours of fishing.
My partner caught this blue cat on a spinnerbait.
X. Worthy 😳
That kid is fast.
If Baltimore can fix the O-line they'll be fine.
Oh, 2 good games to start the year.
Barkley is the leading vote getter for MVP. 😂
I've used a 6'4 UL rod for Neds and dropshot for years without issue...... always pinned in the top of the mouth.
15# braid to 8# flouro leader.
5'4 rod seems short. Imo
Less rod length = less available arc during the fight, keeping the hook pinned.
Meteorologists have the easiest jobs, stress free.
They consistently miss the forecast and get paid regardless. 😁
Due to the gin clear water that I fish, wind can be an issue.
To put fish in the boat consistently it's mostly done with a finesse technique.
Lighter weight is more negatively influenced by wind.
A big arc in the line almost eliminates sensitivity.
Another words...... give me glass water.
I picked the Ravens vs Niners last year for SB........ yes I forgot about Mahomes.
But I'm picking Ravens Niners again, especially if Joe can work his magic in Burrowhead and eliminate Chiefs.
My one prediction that I'm very confident about is.......Dak lays an egg in the playoffs.
Yes.
There's a small lake that I love fishing, only 110 acres.
They do rowing classes there, like 50 of those 60 foot shells " think that's what they call them " and 8 people on board.
This goes on for hours and a guy screaming instructions on a loud speaker non stop.
I had to vacate the lake because of the commotion even though the fishing was very good that morning.
I'm not crazy about a 60ft vessel that travels backwards blindedly.
Tried and true mainly but there is that rare occasion where a particular bait that I'd deem " tried and true " completely shuts down, dead, nothing.
This forces me to try and replicate it's past production with something else.
If you know the Senko is in the fishes mouth, set the hook and reel it in.
Sometimes they move and sometimes it's weight on the line but if you wait to long it can injure the fish with a deep hook.
The talons tell me that's some sort of predatory bird...... quite an aggressive bass.
Check out this aggressive bluegill I caught this morning.
Just hanging on to the tail of keitech trailer, not even close to the hook.
I particularly love the fight and while largemouth bass are considerable fresh water fighters, they aren't near the top pound for pound.
Fished a lake back in May for a week that was equally populated with largemouth and spotted bass.
Each fish that I hooked left little doubt which specie was on the end of the line.
And then there's these guys 😳
