  1. What I did was a cowardly move. I married an investor/ financial advisor 😁 I'll show her the original post later this evening.
  2. That was a savage beating.....at Dallas 😳. I realize it's not all Dak's fault but he's not playing like a 60 million dollar man. Lions look legit on both sides of the ball.
  3. As evenly matched as that game was they should simply switch places in the poles.
  4. Perhaps I'm somewhat confused, happens often. I've only had 2-bank chargers that only charge the 2 deep cycle trolling motor batteries, 10 amps. The cranking battery is independently charged at home in the garage regardless of how much I've run the motor. There is quite a bit of demand put on the cranking battery besides cranking the motor.......graphs, live well, running and console lighting, bilge. A long day of fishing my cranking battery is exhausted and I don't rely on the alternator for a full charge. Note: Your 24V trolling motor batteries are not being charged on the water by the alternator.
  5. I fish clear water and target bass with limited eye sight. That's why I throw Ghost minnow and green pumpkin. The better they see the more fake the bait looks. πŸ˜…
  6. Snakeheads like White jigs as well.
  7. I throw a Dobyns Sierra significantly more than any of my other spinners. 15# braid 12# flouro leader, Alberto leader knot and never an issue.
  8. Great write-up. Your parents must be proud.
  9. Yes time to run some tests. When I had issues years ago with older boats I'd hookup a 3 gallon auxiliary tank directly to the fuel supply line close to engine. If the engine ran fine then I knew the issue was upstream. Replace filter, hoses , tank pickup and anti- siphon valve. If the engine was still starving for fuel I replaced the fuel pump.
  10. This may not apply to everyone but something I've experienced. I throw mainly 3/8 - 1/4 spinnerbaits on straight 20# braid, casting gear. 3 years ago I bought a dedicated MH-F rod just for this purpose. First trip out with new rod I proceeded to lose fish after fish especially the jumpers. Went back to the Med Moderate rod and once again enjoyed the high hookup ratio. When dealing with catches high in the water column where jumping and dancing are common, no stretch line and stiff rod leads to lost fish. Imho
  11. Finesse fishing won't compromise masculinity πŸ˜…
  12. When I'm fishing bargain baits I always target smaller fish πŸ˜‚. Sorry just picking. Wish you better a outcome with upgraded components πŸ‘
  13. So launched the boat this morning in a small 50 acre lake in WV, very windy. Apon return I noticed an entire grass mat came loose and had the single ramp covered. Well, had to get the boat. It was like dragging an entire rain Forrest out of the lake. Wish I'd taken a picture before yanking all this junk off the boat trailer. Plan on fishing next week and will scrub the bunks.
  14. It's hard to think that the Patriots are the worst team in the NFL, possibly so. Just lost at home to an injury riddled Dolphins. Cleveland vs New England would be a classic pillow fight πŸ˜…
  15. I actually brought up a thread about WD-40 few years back. Knew an ole timer that sweared by it.....and tobacco juice. πŸ˜‚ Idk, coffee, anise all make the same claims.
  16. Prayers for safety and sanity, seems to soon for another.
  17. Welcome to the forum. Montana is beautiful, enjoy.
  18. I'd say it's overpopulated. We have a lake that is immediate release on LMB and has been that way for years. We catch nothing but 12" - 15" bass in abundance. Many years ago they stocked this lake with Musky...... hasn't helped yet
  19. @TnRiver46 Now the sawdust will be flying πŸ‘
  20. I don't think Rodgers has played well but of course it's not his fault. 😁
  21. With casting gear I use a leader for all baits with treble hooks to mitigate line wrap...... Devil's Horse being worse case scenario on front prop. Use nothing but Alberto with no issues at all. 20# braid to 12# flouro.
  22. 5500 RPMs under load is fine but I personally wouldn't advise floating an engine to that, not for long anyway. Yes I'd be upset, seems crazy that the shop evaluates an engine this way.
  23. Baltimore vs Cincinnati was the best game of the year so far.
  24. @TnRiver46 Ha Ha, no never had trouble with any of my Stihl's. I said you can't go wrong with Stihl but for the money it's hard to beat Echo. My brother has a sawmill and uses nothing but Stihl pro saws.
