im going down to lake gaston for a week, from march 21 to 29-30, 2020. I would appreciate any tips, tricks, or places to fish. Examples= ~are the bass spawning, or is it before/after? ~what would you throw if you only had one rod/reel set-up and lure? ~what would be the best colors for the following- 'squarebill crankbaits 'soft plastics_ _trick worms _flukes _creature baits _swimbaits _senkos _ned rigs. 'lipless crankbaits 'spinnerbaits 'chatterbaits 'buzzbaits 'jigs ~docks. there seems to be quite a few docks according to google maps. how would I fish those? ~water clarity, what is it on average? ~how would I catch numbers, as in a lot of fish? ~how would I catch the lunkers? ~any other advise you'd be willing to share. thank you very much in advance. god bless you all.

.what to throw on the Carolina rig? also, is black the best color in the spring for soft plastics? .if you had to choose one, crankbaits or spinnerbaits? .my grandpa only uses soft plastic flukes, your opinion? .also, what would be your #1 lure for docks? thank you.

.for the caroline rig, where would you throw it around? I love gaston, just got this account, didn't realize there were others. . also, colors of all the baits would be nice for all of the above. would red work on a rat-l-trap? .water clarity?(on average) .would swimbaits work? I mean, did you lose them to fish, or snags? thank you.

I am looking into fishing the elk river for smallmouth. Any suggestions?
