  1. Most all the fiheries in Central Florida are good in June. Having fished Chickamgua serveral times you are in for a big culture shock opposite of what I had coming from here to up there! Summer bass in Florida generally get under large mats of vegetation. They can be really active in the early mornings. They will also usually get out and active around mid day for a brief feed as well. I have caught a 5+lb average of Bass in the Stick marsh in June fishing from daylight to 2-3pm...It gets hot! Drink lots of water, but the warm waters do keep the bass metabolisim high so they need to feed. Not sure if you bringing more family or just you and your son. Palm Bay area would offer you quick access to Headwaters and Stick Marsh as well as an Hour to Toho. Not far from the beaches either.
  2. Couple days away from a week in Hiawassee. First day with my boat on the water will be Sunday morning. I am coming up from Central Florida, so total different ball game. I have spoke with my wife's cousin who filled me in on a good amunt of tactics, etc. He won't be able to fish til late in the week (back to back BFL's on sinclair) Anyone have any current inetel they would be willing to share??? Thanks in advance!
