I have the kkr (fixed) for my alphas sv800 as well, the quality of the stock bearing in the one I got didn't seem great so I replaced it (and the reel plate bearing too) with some bfs roro's and it made a huge difference. Because of the nature of the fixed rotor and super free bearings it starts to get squirrely and hard to control at around 3/8oz and higher. The ray's sv is much more versatile and suits the selection of my lures better and handles a broader weight range, sounds crazy but with this spool it's almost like I have a psychic connection with the lure and how it casts, it does exactly what I want it to do, and I imagine it'll get even better once change out that stock bearing with a roro. YMMV I don't know if these experiences will transfer as we are talking about two different reels. The ray's for the gekka is still available, it's interchangeable with the alphas air, linked below.
I've dabbled in small jigs, I like compact jigs that can do double duty swimming and pitching/skipping to cover, here's a few I've used:
Molix kento 1/4oz - Most compact and shortest overall of the bunch, good at swimming and pitching, best skipper, one of my faves.
Keitech tungsten model1 v2 1/4oz - Use more for pitching than swimming, most expensive, will probably phase out of use.
Dirty jigs finesse swimjig 5/16oz - Great swimmer around vegetation. Longest overall and kind of big hook for a "finesse" jig, almost full size.
Dirty jigs Scott Canterbury compact flipping 5/16 & 7/16oz- One of my favorites, tied for the best do-it-all imo. Beefiest hook of the bunch. More pitching than swimming.
Booyah baby boo 5/16oz - No complaints for the price, very light wire and least expensive, great bang for the buck.
Booyah baby boo 3/16oz - Another great bang for the buck, even lighter wire, 2nd shortest overall.
Strike King Baby Structure Jig 3/8oz - Very compact for it's weight, best I've found at coming through all types of cover, owner hook, tied as my favorite, a real sleeper.
Strike King Bitsy Flip 1/4oz - Meh, it's cheap and it shows, terrible keeper, hit or miss quality control.
It depends on which plastics you use. I use the 3/0 a lot, it’s the perfect size for the ri sweet beaver (pictured) and other creatures like the brush hog. For 5-6” finesse worms or stick worms I might go with the 2/0.
The Junior has only 2 hooks, they’re probably just using a stock photo. If you look it up on sportsmans warehouse they show the 2 hook version, looks dang close, I could be wrong
If your'e mainly using it for chatterbaits I'd go with the lighter and lower profile reel which between the two would be the curado, the tatula 200 is a fair bit beefier in hand.
