  1. I read Buck Perry's book on trolling (spoon plugging). I remember one quote that he made about trolling during the summer months. "Troll at a speed that you think is to fast, then increase youre speed". I troll a lot for muskies, play around with youre speed until you have found the correct speed. Keep in mind not all lures can be trolled at a fast speed.
  2. Used to be a club in the Ironton area call Lawence County Bass club, check with the Tackle Box Store in Ironton, they will know
  3. retie before starting each trip, and constantly check youre line for nicks and abrasion. You cant retie to much
  4. a black light would be helpful, use fluorescent line, and get you some type of light that will fit on the bill of youre hat
  5. i hate strike king pro team journal, its a half hour commercial for strike king, appears to be on a private lake, never have seen another boat on the lake, even i could catch a fish there (if i could get permission to fish), its like shooting fish in a barrell
  6. my fishing pardnor says the same thing, but fishing is so bad around east kentucky, we could not prove or disprove this theory
  7. wow, great pictures, those pictures can make you appreciate what a wonderful country we live in. It sure puts me in a mood to go fishing, camping, and hunting. thanks
  8. I remember one of Bill Dance shows where he wore the same clothes but he used 2 different belt buckles
