I have more Megabass stuff coming, but will not be in until the end of next week and didn't want to wait that long for a group photo. Its a trap!
Those big hooks on the 6th Sense sure do mess up the lure in the package.
Pretty much the same for me. I retie if I see a flaw in the last few inches of line or if I change baits. I haven't had a knot failure in years unless I intended it like when stuck on something.
I have this one and really like it. I got it for under $80.

If I were looking in that price point, I would get a St Croix Avid or Avid X. Around $220, made in USA (if that matters to you) and has a 15 year warranty.
Hasn't been a high numbers year for me either. I get out pretty much every Saturday and Sunday assuming no rain. Going back to April/May when I could first get out (no more ice) it was slow. Got a bit better early June. Lots of heat, wind and rain I only got out two days in July.
I am sure the fish are more pressured this year due to COVID bringing out way way way more people then in years past. Normally now there are 3-5 people waiting in lines at a full parking lot to launch were as last year the parking lot was never full.
All the extra people are making it less entertaining/relaxing/fun for me this year too so I spend less time on the water.
I would assume they get a commission on sales for items with their name behind it like the cranks and jigs.
Not really a "sponsorship" in my mind, but I could be wrong.
They are more awesomer. Or maybe it is they are the awesomeist. I mix those two up all the time.
For real though, I couldn't say as my order from Japan was cancelled due to importation rules with some US company having the sales rights to Jackhammers.
I have seen pictures and they sure don't look much smaller then the normal ones.
Only reason I was ordering them was because from Japan they were about 30% or more less then the normal Jackhammers here in the US.
Second day and next day shipping are weight/size based currently, not flat fee like pre-COVID.
I just got a shipping quote from TW for a rod, $13 second day arrives Monday and $19 next day arrives tomorrow.
If you have a rod + other stuff, it will ship in two packages so shipping will go up because of that.
I have a Lowe 1546 with a 25hp on it. I really like it for mid to small sized waters. With the 25hp I can get on plane and go about 20-24 MPH, but that is WOT. On most days I can get on plane at WOT and then back it down some and stay on plan at about 16-18 MPH.
I wouldn't bother with a smaller outboard motor if it were me. If trying to get on a limited lake, I would rather spend the money on a 36v 112lb Ultrex and the features that come along with it over a outboard.
I also wouldn't fish three people on the boat, but I like my space and space for gear.
They ship overnight and 2nd day orders the same or next day as ordered.
Ground orders they were saying 3 weeks, but that doesn't seem to be the case more like a worse case scenario maybe at this point. I had one order ship after two days. Another order took five days.
At this point unless you pay for expedited shipping, I would only order things that you can live without for a while and if it comes quicker then its a good surprise.
Same here. I keep bringing them with, but never want to use them. End up hurting my wrist after walking the dog for a couple casts.
Was going to give up on chatterbaits, but after using the Jackhammer I was finally catching and catching a lot. I now never will use another model.
