Probably my worst luck of losing lures was last year. I lost two LC staysees in the first twenty minutes. Then he tells me " that might be where I sank those brush piles." information that would have been useful after I lost the first one. Oh well, it turned into a heck of day. Caught my PB kentucky and hybrid. So you win some, you lose some.

I have never used hair jigs but I have done well with Jewel Eakins and football jigs for smallies. PB&J, brown & purple, brown, and brown and blue.

My most productive lures are: 1. Jigs 2. Flukes 3. zoom trick worms 4. 10" worms 5. rogues or pointers

I wish that we could pick more than one because I like bass pro and I like the local stores too. I like bass pro because when we go up to springfield it like a holiday. It is always the first place we go and my wife likes it as much as I do. The only negative I have about BPS is I will never make another online purchase with them. It was a disaster. Cabelas was a lot better in that regard. Also, more impressed with their catalogs lately than BPS. Lastly, I like the mom and pop places to hang out and pick something up when I am in a pinch.

If we are talking about the best made now, I would say Lucky crafts and Megabass. As far as catching more fish for me Im still partial to swithwick rogues. Also, I have caught more on a zoom super fluke than all the rest combined.

It would be a 5/16 once brown jig. I can catch fish with it year around.

My two favorite cranks are norman DLN's and storm wiggle warts. Mainly because they are good producers where I live. I also like the Lucky Craft RC's.

Congrats!!! Now you will have to learn when to put them down like everyone already stated. Im still having that problem.

The color I use depends on how I plan on using it. If I am using them wacky style then I like white, pink, and watermelon. If I am using them on a shaky head or mojo rig then watermelon or green pumpkin.

They are pretty good around here from fall through spring as long as there is some wind. That is a pretty big factor. As far as color any of the crawdad colors work. You just have to find the one they like the best.

I always start with a pearl colored one. They see a million of them and are still dumb to them. I also like the smoke shad, albino and arkansas shiner. I have not experimented with the watermelon one but I am sure they would work.

Favorite Lure is a jig. Mainly because I can catch fish with them year around but I also love jerkbaits.
