  1. "Yeah, just you officer."
  2. Third picture is identical to my water clarity, like 99%, fish even look that that aswell. And yeah they haven't treated the lake in a month so there's some hydrilla beginning to grow back where it's shallow but only like right at the shoreline the rest of the lake is clear of it. I'm guessing that will probably die off since it's fall. With all the rain we had i'm sure the water is even more dirty now.
  3. The water is much more greaner and murky now than it was back then in the early spring. It's the same green color but just 12inches or less now since there's an algea bloom from weed treatments. The water clarity since they begun treatment has been this @casts_by_fly
  4. I'm in my early 20s but I do suffer from this occasionally. Most recently in the summertime, I workout frequently and fish so eventually the soreness and pain catches up lol, on and off the water. If the tennis elbow isn't severe I try to stretch it out and go easy on things but if it's bad I will apply icyhot lidocaine patches on the area and give it a rest. Lidocaine can be found at almost any pharmacy/drug store. I've even seen them in places like walmart. Also painkillers could ease it aswell. Hope that helps.
  5. The lake itself gets runoff from drainage pipes, it was made back in the 1980s I believe. The spot used to be a brick pit or something.
  6. Those are overhanging trees that were planted on the bank google earth makes them look like rocks, the shoreline is mostly featureless but there's some reeds or Phragmites as they're called that are in the water and then it's open water once it drops off. Here are some pictures from the bank before the water was treated and a lot clearer you'll see the reeds in a ft of water and then drops off into open water, these are only on the deep side first picture is the shallow end right at the drop off and the second is the bottom right of the pond.
  7. Lake on google images, i highlighted all the sections and the white line represents where I believe the shallow drop offs occur. Featureless for the most part with it being a little shallower than normal on the bottom left side. The entire right and bottom side is a drop off with occasional reeds and plants littering the bank. I've had luck fishing those but not the open water infront of them. Forgot to mention there's 4 aerators. This lake had a fishkill in the past and was restocked in 2019. Lake turnover caused it I believe.
  8. So this lake has a standard depth of 10ft all around one side of the lake is shallow which in return gradually gets deeper but the other side of it is a deep drop off about 10ft all around. With the water being dirty and it fall now should I focus my presentation on the deep side or shallow side? Will the fish suspend or hold tight to the bottom?
  9. Any fall tips for this place? Most of the grass is still gone and the water is still green and murky. Any good spinnerbait or crankbait color suggestions? Also where should I concentrate my fishing shallow or out deep?
  10. St croix bass x. 7'0 medium heavy, I've had mine for a year now and love it. Dobyns also makes rods at that below 150 dollar price point
  11. Zoom for soft plastics and it's not even close. Strike king for hard baits Zman for bladed jigs War eagle for spinnerbaits Keitech for swimbaits
  12. I try to match my colors best to the water clarity and sky conditions, at least up here in the northeast we have some colors that always work like anything perch or golden shiner (for hardbaits) usually if I catch fish on a certain color that I know for sure works under certain conditions I don't change it unless the conditions change. Not because the fish aren't interested. Usually there's some other factor at play with that like fish movement and mood.
  13. Thanks man I appreciate it
  14. Know any good grease? Would ardent reel butter work?
  15. What parts do I need to oil/lube? I already did the spool and bearings that go into the tension knob and the shaft under the star drag I use shimano bantam oil since it came with a few SLX series I own will this be a good oil to get rid of the dryness in the reel? What parts need to be lubricated?
  16. Ignore any clacking since it's my finger occasionally hitting the drag star.
  17. I think it's the spool turning, is there anyway I can record the sound and post it on here?
  18. It's not screeching loud but noticeable if you listen to it, I think @MN Fisheris right it might be just the way daiwa reels are. I cleaned up the spool shaft and the actual spool its self and its still a little noisy
  19. I have the daiwa tatula ct in a 8:3:1 gear ratio I use for bottom contact lures, it's been in my ownership for about a year now and I noticed though it's been noisy ever since I got it, I can hear noise when I rotate the handle and cast, does anyone else own the tatula ct and experience this, anyway to possibly fix the noise? I clean and re oil/lube during the winter to keep it clean and free of dirt. Just curious if it's in the design or something else. Thanks
  20. I tried an sos pad and it got rid of the rust, by i noticed now the blades are a slight bronze color. Anyway to get them silver again?
  21. Anyone know good ways to clean the hammered blades? These two pictured below have some rust on them. I actually use toothpaste to clean most of my normal spinner blades and willow/colorado blade underspins with it but for some reason these aren't getting the rust out of them. Thanks.
  22. My home lake is tannic brown and right now they're chewing orange/green pumpkin and some junebug holdovers from the mid summer. In green tinted/dirty water it's all about purple/black/blacknblue right now with white and chartreuse doing well on reaction baits, white also works well in almost any water clarity.
  23. I bring a little cooler that I store my drinks/food on my 10ft bass raider during a day trip, I usually pack some water/energy drinks like gatorade and a peanut butter and jelly/cold cut sandwich. I'm usually not that hungry when on the water but I will take time to stop and eat for a little bit. Especially if the fishing is tough. I'm there to fish really I try to eat breakfast before I leave.
  24. I'm a little confused, so the alabama craw/orange is better seen since the light penetrates the water more? Sorry lol
  25. That's awesome, i have some alabama craw paca craws I gotta try out, when the water is tannic what time of day/sky conditions fo you throw it in?
