  1. Copolymer is a great line. I prefer Gamma but many people like suffix advance and some others.
  2. They looked pretty good but i sold them off - I don't really fish segmented swimbaits. I feel a large softbait works better if I am fishing that way.
  3. For the price there are so many better options - all those cheap Chinese reels are exactly that.
  4. Every single Jr I have had was darn near a heavy float. The Jr +1's suspend well but not the regular Jr's. I have 8-10 of the regular Jr's.
  5. Frankly I don't like the hooks megabass uses - I have had too many that don't bend, they just snap off. I don't know what I am using on the Jr. Because all the Jr's I got were pretty heavy floaters so I had to upsize the hooks anyway.
  6. When it comes to swimbaiting - no. It works if you are targeting young and dumb Florida strain LMB...but northern strain LMB - they didn't live 12-15 years and get that big burning calories by chasing down food.
  7. The only problem with fishing big swimbaits without FFS is to fish them effectively and correctly for the biggest fish, you can't cover lots of water. They have great drawing power but I consider them a finesse tactic. Fish them very slow to get the biggest fish. Nothing makes me laugh more than all the dudes burning big swimbaits...
  8. The one I would pick is the Brent Ehler TAEL731MHFB
  9. I have way more vision 110s than I would like to admit, some from Japan. Depending on water temps, some sink, some float but most suspend. Change a hook or three out and you can get the desired action you want.
  10. BTW, the FX version is different because of the bill. It suspends exactly like the original 110.
  11. Straight from the megabass USA website.... It is very much a suspending bait.
  12. A knot I started using last year has been doing really well for me - the Crawford Knot. I still use a Palomar and a San Diego jam but this knot is really shining. It's pretty easy to tie. I have been using it for Fluorocarbon and Copolymer. Has anyone else tried this knot out? If you haven't I would recommend it.
  13. Got a bunch of chatterbait trailers, some more A-rigs and Jigheads for them. Also got 3 flavors of pro-cure(Alewife, Craw and Shiner) and a few other things.
  14. I always opt to just peg a weight on a smaller creature bait rather than throw a lightweight jig. I rarely throw jigs under 3/4 of an ounce. If I want a skirt on my creature bait I put a punch collar in front of the hook
  15. I throw all mine on a 7'6" Heavy Tatula rod with a Tatula SV reel. Same setup I use for jigs.
  16. Megabass and Lucky Craft.
  17. When I see frays - Braid lasts me anywhere from 2- 5 years depends on the application. I flip it onto other reels and add a little backing to compensate for the little but I cut off from tying new leaders
  18. 12 lbs 1 oz of Bass - spent about 30 minutes fishing to catch them before work. Eastern PA
  19. He smoked the field...how is that not impressive?
  20. Darn it. Saw those Beeble's on a thread here and knew I had to get some... to fill the order out got a few other spinnerbaits too.
  21. Soft or Hard swimbait. Or a big worm on a shakey head because they will probably be on beds. You could also run a gigantarel with a nose weight to run it through beds - bass hate bluegill screwing with their beds...
  22. Yeah, I have the others but this one was my favorite and accounted for the most fish I have ever caught in 1 with a jerkbait.
  23. It's this new world thing...everyone gets to be the boss!
  24. A black max is a good starting baitcasting combo. For the price you get a decent product.
