  1. i’m in, if it’s still going!
  2. Even if the fish died, which it most likely did, if would only benefit other animals in that ecosystem. That just helps the worms, turtles and other fish to grow and mature. It also helps the soil.
  3. Can anyone shed some light on the type of hardener they use for balsa crankbaits. And any tips for making the wire harness for balsas also?
  4. I use Sally Hansen’s Double Duty to coat over the thread wraps.
  5. No matter the circumstances... largemouth, smallmouth, or spotted bass should never be eaten. Take care of the fish!

  7. I use Krystal Flash bought from Tackle Warehouse tied with Danville thread. It doesn’t quite look like a normal feathered treble but it provides the flash i needed. Also check out the Tactical Bassin video about making feathered trebles.
  8. This isn’t quite as “full” but if you use Skirts Unlimited Tatantula Series, it is an extremely wide strand that really puffs out once you get in in the water. I can use one tab per jig as opposed to my normal 2 tab jig but it flares out just as well.
  9. I used to use Devcon 2-Ton which i had bc of my crankbait painting but i have recently switched to the Loctite Super Glue Gel. Make sure you have cleaned out the weedguard hole as Cadman said. An 1/8 inch drill bit works well.
  10. Incomplete pours may also be because of poor lead quality. Try buying ingots from Bass Pro, they are $25 for 5 lbs and it is extremely soft and hasn’t given me any problems.
  11. If you are interested in painting hardbaits of any kind i suggest buying a Iwata Neo CN airbrush. Also look into Wicked Airbrush paint made by Createx. You will also need various items like an air compressor, cups to mix paint in, cleaning materials for the brush and stencils to add different effects to your work.
