  1. I just did some electronics upgrades I can’t wait to try the livescope out.
  2. No you cant a 36 volt ultrex needs 36 volts.
  3. Here you go this is 5 years old where was the uproar then ? There wasn’t one because the household named bass ( pro’s ) weren’t getting beat by some new kid.
  4. 1 year isn’t enough they could have easily killed someone imagine if there was a kayaker or someone on a float tube.
  5. So watching someone who’s dropshoting watching 2d is ok but watching someone who’s scoping isn’t? Mega 360 is ok? Side image is ok but livescope isn’t ? Watching someone fish on tv is boring no matter how they are fishing. If we were still watching a half hour edited bass master tv show showing all the highlights the complaints would be less then watching 4 hours of live coverage. This technology has been out for years but now it’s a issue because most of the older elites didn’t adapt to it. I seen Chris Lanes video yesterday saying he just wants to fish how he likes to fish doesn’t everyone. Maybe some pros aren’t as versatile as everyone thinks and it’s definitely showing as more anglers cry about getting beat by not being able to flip bushes in every tournament. As far as it’s to expensive that’s a bunch of B.S you can get a 7 or 9” screen and a transducer for the same price as one big SI unit you don’t have to have a 22” NBT screen ans 6 transducers. If you can afford a bass boat or any other nice fishing boat you can afford to buy livescope that’s a fact. I’ve been bass fishing for 40 years and this year I will have FFS on my boat it’s just another tool to me.
  6. I add tiny decoy clips one at a time until I get it to suspend how I want. I would just start adding clips to the rear split ring until it levels out how you want. I think I use size 00 clips.
  7. Yep mine rise also I just add a little weight to make the bait do what I want. I’d much rather have it float then sink.
  8. I would opt for 2 10’s myself but being on a kayak that’s going to take up some room. So in your case I’d probably do one 12”.
  9. Trailers can have issues regardless of brand but can be fixed pretty easy. The most important thing is that whatever brand boat you decide to buy make sure you have support after the sale. Weather it be trough the dealership you bought it from or the manufacturer of the boat. That’s very important to me. Also look into the transferable hull warranty’s on the boat brands your considering and do some research on how those different companies handled prior clames. If you plan on keeping the boat for a while this is all worth it .
  10. I agree with this get the biggest one you can afford if your on LOZ.
  11. You can add a trick step to any of the trailers for about 600 bucks. In 2023 & earlier the 919 didn’t have that many standard features over the 819 I pretty much added everything the 919 had to my 819 and was still considerably cheaper then the 919. Probably due to the smaller engine but believe me the 200 pushes the 819 extremely good . Now with the 2024 919 elite that has a lot of upgrades over the 819. And it’s a lot more money.
  12. Keep in mind the Phoenix 819 pro and the 919 pro xp is the same exact boat the 919 has a few more standard options and a extra 25 hp. If you any questions on the 819 let me know.
  13. I would recommend Phoenix or bass cat. I personally had issues with my old nitro with no support from the manufacturer I will never own anything from whitewater marine ever again but that’s just my opinion. I also had a couple small issues with my 2014 Lund impact I sent Lund multiple emails that were never answered and many unreturned phone calls with no help from Lund or Brunswick but my dealer took care of the issues for me he did not have to. I sold that boat as well. I bought a new Phoenix 819 last year it’s been great at 19’8 it’s almost a 20’ boat it rides and handles great and the folks at Phoenix are wonderful before my purchase I had multiple conversations with Jeff at Phoenix and I know if I have a issue it will be taken care of. Whatever you buy make sure the manufacturer stands behind their product.
  14. Don’t overlook mud bottoms sometimes the bass get on a mud bottom to the point that have muddy belly’s when you get them to the boat.
  15. If you don’t like the tail just remove it and fish it with out it or put a pink floating worm in the length you want in the hole.
  16. I really like fishing rats especially that 40 size. Have fun they’re fun baits to fish.
  17. Texas rig 7” power worm.
  18. I chose the wind & weather . I’ll go sit on someone’s spot with FFS and catch all of their fish lol. And with having FFS I’ll know quickly what the size is and what presentation will be best. Weather is my main factor.
  19. My White truck matches everything.
  20. The reason for the braid is so the hooks can twist 360 and the fish have less chance of throwing the hook due to lack of leverage. I’ve done it on big swimbaits but not little ones.
  21. I just call it the Bird since it’s a Phoenix.
  22. I don’t have a kayak but I run all Humminbird except for FFS that’s a garmin 1222 and LVS 34 and I would definitely go with the Lvs34 over the 32. If you’d spending the money you might as well get the best there is. The 34 is about 30-40 percent better than the 32. I would definitely go with the Lvs34 over the 32. 23. Suffix advance is my go to bulk mono I buy 1200 yard spools.
  24. My favorite spinning rod is my Daiwa KAGE 7’ M/F all around. It is definitely worth a look.
