  1. I use a Duracell size 31 deep cycle and fish all day with my 55lb thrust endura max.
  2. Fish those baby bullshads with a stop and go throw in some twitches. I caught a few over 4lbs on them this past fall/summer.
  3. You need put mor effort in that box or sell it to me. I’ve caught fish on just about every bait in that box.
  4. If that’s the case get your self a 7’6 mh bass pro crankin stick. It will be a great all around rod at a budget. I use the exact rod for my buzz baits and really like it. And you can pick one up for about 80 bucks or les on sale.
  5. Get yourself a ALX TOADFACE very nice rod for frogging and versatile for other applications.
  6. 6.4 is a good all around ratio .
  7. S waver 168 and 200 are great starter glide baits. Not overly expensive either.
  8. Get a 300 size reel I use a Lews super duty wide spool for my swimbaits with 20lb mono. If you’re worried about backlashes practice more.
  9. Absolutely worth it I fish from shore also. I throw s waver 168-200 and 6” bullshads and catch fish I’m in the Midwest and with you being in California I would definitely throw swimbaits.

  11. Last reels I bought I wouldn’t say I regretted buying but didn’t live up to the hype were my tatula sv reels.
  12. Some of my biggest bass last season were on a buzzbait in 50 degree water in spring.
  13. 20 is to heavy I throw those exact baits on 15lb big game. I use 20 for baits that are 3.5 oz.
  14. Only 13 set ups you have a Waze to go. I have one for every technique. Plus spares you can never have enough.
  15. If it did it with both rods check the line guide on your reel .
  16. I got a fablink travel rod off Amazon for 40 bucks it’s a 4 piece with case. I take it to Florida every year it’s been great.
  17. I fish a jerkbait slow in late fall/winter and do pretty well with it. From shore.
  18. 5-6 inch bullshads and a G2 shellcracker.
  19. I use a original tatula 7’2 heavy with a Lews tournament pro lfs.
  20. I absolutely love the tournament pro lfs I have a couple and just got another one.
  21. This right here my buddy bought a couple tatula Sv’s to learn after about a week he listed them for sale and bought a few Lews bb1 pros Han haven’t looked back. I did help with the adjustments in the beginning but he picked it up quickly.
  22. I always use black in muddy water a black chatter bait or black Colorado blade spinner bait can be deadly.
  23. My favorite jerkbait rod is a bass pro crankin stick 7’ medium action. It’s also perfect for top water.
