  1. Hoping someone can help me ID this flat bottom boat or what its design is for. I think this boat was made to fish rivers in PNW? I'm also interested how much of a motor I should be looking at, boat is 16' by 6'8". Its heavy, according to the title weight is 3300.
  2. So looks like I will get my 701 tomorrow. So 9 days to my door, not terrible but not what I am used too from Dobyns. However it seems that a rod section I sent in for warranty didn't to go where I mailed it (CMH 100), supposedly someone from GSM has it and Dobyns knows nothing about it. And now they are telling me that my rod section has not been received. I mailed it on the 14th.
  3. Wish I had checked in here before my latest purchase, Ordered two rods, SA 703C and a SUF 701C, on June 11. So far have received the 703, the 701c is still processing. Neither were listed as out of stock, This is super slow compared to previous orders. I'm also waiting to get a replacement for a broken 704c. Its looking like I may not have my new rods for an upcoming tournament this weekend, this was never a concern in the past with a two week lead time. All of that aside I like buying from a small/family manufacturer I'll probably be going with Taipan rods in the future.
  4. The Road. A sunburned Country, hilarious
  5. Straight up Gansta.
  6. Top pic is bermuda, bottom crab. Runtz and sour diesel cures what ails ya.
  7. Imazapyr, Is persistent. So probably no need for another pre-emergent I.e Ronstar.
  8. I hate weed barriers with a passion. op, go to a pro landscape supply shop and get glyphosate in a concentration of 41%. For longer term weed control look into Ronstar pre-emergent.
  9. !!!$#@&^%f,ing%$#@*****!@%cheat$!!!!!!
  10. ↑ 8, can relate.
  11. Eggs any style with old ham, big fat biscuit and a heaping portion of crispy home fries.
  12. Latest version of pogey bait.
  13. Seaguar Smackdown 15lbs in stealth grey is what I use. Don't feel the need for a leader.
  14. I like a jig and craw when there is structure/cover to throw into and it doesn't need to be much. One of my favorite spots is an abandoned chain in the canal I fish, doesn't even break the current but holds fish. Casting a jig up current on the opposing bank and letting it tumble down stream is extremely effective where I fish. A blade bait/crankbait thrown parallel to rocky banks, deflection is key (got to hit the rocks). If they are cruising around in open water then the jerkbait/blade cant be beat.
  15. The arkie works for both rock and wood, but the football shines in rock. The arkie for wood. My most productive color is green pumpkin/brown, straight brown or straight GP. Get teflon pins, you'll thank me later!
  16. Man if it were me, I'd go with a fuego and spend the rest on the rod for the techniques you mentioned. You didn't mention weights so, DX744c at 350.00, leaves 150.00 for reel and line. Go with a Fuego and you could throw a few baits in there.
  17. As do I, I wanted to put it up. But...........
  18. Related, if you haven't seen the road movies your missing out.
