  • About Me

    <p>
    I grew up trout fishing. After my kids got old enough to start fishing, I took up bass fishing because it was the fishing we had easiest access to and we fell in love with it. There were a lot of tough days to begin with but we are getting better every year.

  1. I’ve never fished the Potomac but have friends that do. I grew up fishing the Williams but also spent time on the cranberry. It is nice. I have been planning on buying my Ohio license to try some of the ponds and lakes near me on that side of the river. Tycoon lake, forked run, Dow lake and a bunch of others are within a reasonable driving distance for me. It’s probably closer for me to fish in Ohio than a lot of the West Virginia lakes I go to.
  2. Where at in wv? I’m along the Ohio river between Parkersburg and Huntington.
  3. Hello everyone I've been visiting this site for a while and decided I should join the forum. There is a lot of good info here and I appreciate everyone for their contributions. I have three sons and we all love bass fishing. I grew up trout fishing, so I am leaning about bass fishing as I go. My sons have stuck with it thru the learning pains and are probably better at it than I am. Two of the three have bigger personal bests than I do.(I consider that a success for me also) Anyway, thanks for all the info and great site Jason
