  1. Yesterday was tough with the north east wind. I could only find deep fish tight to cover and not many of them. I used spinnerbaits early then jigs, shaky and Ned. Only bites were on shaky around 20 feet deep.
  2. They are several levels up from the entry level Tracker which will be under powered with a cheap trolling motor and electronics.
  3. Scrambled with hot salsa, sliced tomatoes and some kind of potatoes along with Turkey bacon.
  4. If you have a Sam’s Club near you, you can buy a group 31 for less money. What ever you get high reserve capacity is what you need.
  5. They have that at Table Rock and that is why I don’t go there until late fall and leave in the late spring.
  6. I wouldn’t know about that since docks aren’t there. They don’t even allow lake side resorts on this lake.
  7. I don’t follow your logic on course. Where I fish docks are not allowed so I have almost 300 miles of open banks to fish. 5 foot jogs are normally not enough because of what I have already covered.
  8. Last summer people couldn’t do much. The lakes were open and fishing was allowed. Boats, campers, yaks, there was no end to sales. I look for a lot of them to be on the used market in a year or so.
  9. Nada was good before the pandemic. Used boats around here are going for nearly double what they should be.
  10. Spot lock jog on my Ulterra allows me to point the boat into the wind and fish. When I want to move the boat I can do it with a touch of the remote. The right arrow moves it 5 feet to the right, the left arrow 5 feet to the left, the + arrow 5 feet forward and the - arrow 5 feet backwards. Pushing a particular button more than once will move it in 5 foot increments, absolutely fantastic.
  11. Spot lock is great but spot lock jog is the bomb, especially on windy days.
  12. I’ve been using one of these for years. https://www.fishusa.com/Eze-Lap-Diamond-Hook-Sharpener?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIjZyK8Z668QIVJBh9Ch18igiwEAQYDCABEgLfy_D_BwE
  13. I have gone through many scales. None of them were accurate for very long. I have had the boga for several years and it is still accurate.
  14. A picture is worth a thousand words. Those numbers alone don’t tell me anything. Do you know what a thermocline looks like on your depth finder screen?
  15. I wonder how this will shake out. Low came out with their own trolling motor distancing themselves from MG. I wonder if that could be a factor in the purchase? Do you suppose in the future that boats rigged with Mercury motors will come with Lowrance units.
  16. I got tired of giving my jigs to Bull Shoals Lake so I sold my Arkie and bought a football mold. I lose a lot fewer of them.
  17. Of the two you listed ArkIe would be my choice. However I prefer the football jig over the ones listed. I recommend fishing skirts and Captain Hooks for supplies. Also Harbor Freight carries cheap powder paint. Good luck.
  18. That lawn mower battery will probably do the job.
  19. I keep the yellow, not the green bar bait in the barn at the farm. It will get rid of mice, rats, squirrels, and even racoons.
  20. You battery needs will depend on the fish finder you choose. Some of them are power misers and some are power hogs.
  21. I’d like to see some of those. I really like sj’s vid onlocking a spinnerbait wire.
  22. I have not. I have used a lot of methods and have settled on a microwave and nor pour silicone cups.
  23. For me Biffle bug.
