  1. I’ll take my chances rather than pull on the rope and contort my body all day long.
  2. The issue is braking. If your trailer doesn’t have brakes it will be sketchy.
  3. The ones I make don’t have any salt so they stay on. Trailers with salt are the ones that you have to be concerned about.
  4. Do you actually have a gel instead of an agm?
  5. That too was my first thought. Your charger may not be compatible with a gel battery. Some aren’t even with agms.
  6. If that is your plan, Tom has a good idea.
  7. Right now Bull Shoals pretty much has no points showing as it is 40’ above power pool.
  8. That is a term that is new to me. I don’t know how you can have a point on a lake without land, be it above or below the water.
  9. That color can work anywhere though I prefer fairly clear water and sunshine. That is my go to color when pb&j is slow.
  10. I don’t set the hook until I feel weight.
  11. If it is your boat and tow vehicle, your buddies should pony up for the gasoline.
  12. I do that when alone. It is great.
  13. I suggest electronics first. After you get what you want and become comfortable with them you can get a trolling motor that is compatible. If you are going HB the MK with link is way more versatile than just Ipilot.
  14. I use 7s and 8s myself. It is easier for me to slow down than to speed up.
  15. I fish Table Rock, Stockton, Pomme de Terre, and sometimes Truman. The main city in the area is Springfield.
  16. Our fisheries biologists say take out at least 20 bass per surface acre of water every year.
  17. Right now I am using my 70s mostly. They are my shaky and Ned setups and that is what is working now. The 150 and 200s are patiently waiting for their time to come.
  18. I don’t see anyone buying BPS in John L’s lifetime. Maybe after he’s gone. He’s a big duck in our little Missouri puddle and loves it.
  19. There should be one on your engine.
  20. I had an Optimax for 14 years it always showed low water pressure.
  21. When I needed a new one I asked a friend who works for the Corps of Engineers what they use. He said they were furnished with the best Mustang out there. He said he can work all day long with it on. I figured that would be the way to go so I have one and wear it all the time.
  22. That sounds like my favorite shaky rod. I also use it for cranking.
  23. Black and black very good black and blue not so good around here.
