  1. X2 on the jitterbug. If there are any bass there you will find out with a black jitterbug.
  2. Just send it to the Chiefs and be done with it.
  3. The visibility changes in the lakes that I fish by where I am. Down towards the dam the water is normally clear with visibility 6-10 feet in the early spring. It normally is less in the summer. As I motor up stream the water starts changing getting more dingy. The farther up the rivers that I go the visibility decreases. Yesterday I was fishing up a river. I was catching bass on a bleeding shad spinner bait and a white buzz bait. I worked my way up to where visibility was maybe a foot. Both baits produced in both locations. I was alternating with a black buzz bait in both areas. The black never even got a hit. I pay little attention to water color vs bait color. My philosophy is change and keep throwing until something works.
  4. My guess is because that is the way engineers designed them.
  5. If you don’t drop shot, this probably isn’t for you.
  6. I have a drop shot mold I will sell for $40.
  7. You should read don’ts for newbies for sure.
  8. You might get better advice by using a forum with mostly Missouri guys instead of guys from all over the globe. Phil Lilly has Ozark Anglers. You might want to check it out.
  9. Mine is 2/1 and it is measured in mm. I have it in many sizes up to 40 and all of it is mm.
  10. The boat for the river won’t be very good for lakes. Jons with jets make great river boats. Fiberglass glitter sleds are great for lakes. I wouldn’t even consider an aluminum fishing boat on Lake of the Ozarks. Figure out where you want to fish then look for a boat that will fit your needs.
  11. Mine is the smallest size at Harbor Freight.
  12. Super moment to remember.
  13. Easier said than done for me. What size shrink tubing do you have? My smallest is 3.5mm. It is still loose on the hook. It needs to be glued.
  14. Google bait making sites under ground. You will find one that has every thing you need to know.
  15. I tried a pm and the info was censored. Pm me ypur phone number and I will text it to you.
  16. Mine has similar categories. I keep mine in Excel that way I can do filters and extract the information that I want and get it in a report.
  17. Call Tracker marine and ask them what size will fit.
  18. I wouldn’t use glue.
  19. I use 1/16 and 1/8 oz heads with 4/0 hooks. Ive caught smallies up to 4.5# on them. They are really good for pre spawn white bass also.
  20. All of the above.
  21. Spinner bait and buzz bait so far, probably jig and shaky later.
  22. 3/16 and up on a Curado 70.
  23. Painful but still humorous.
  24. Nice. My dad played the mandolin. Me, I play a mean radio.
  25. Missouri also has a 3 hook limit. I make my own similar to a flash mob with willow blades and only 3 baits, either swim baits or flukes.
