  1. Put some seafoam in it. Replace the spark plugs. Everything about motor height is true when running, makes a difference in carbureted engines. Looks like that lower unit has see alot, however its hard to tell whats really leaking in it if its hooked up to the muffs.
  2. 7500 is a little much to pay for a boat powered by that old of a motor in my opinion. Not to mention the batteries will need replaced as well probably. The boat sounds like its in great shape and has good bones. It should have a nice full bench seat and an area where you can finish the casting deck. In the end for 7500 is a little much but if you dont pay that amount someone else DEFINITELY will. What are you looking for the most in your next boat? I know bass boats like the back of my hand and would be happy to give perspective.
  3. Daniel, Is the fiberglass on the top cap oxidized at all? I have a method that you could use to make it look brand new.
  4. Rangers are flat out the best built boat in the industry. If you are not experienced in what exactly to look for when purchasing a new boat and you buy a nitro you will have the worse buyers remorse you've ever had. There are things that you cant see initially that will show up in the future as you use the boat more. If the difference is only 5k i would say the ranger is a no brainer. Even if its 10k, the ranger will hold its value MUCH longer.
