  1. It depends. I always out fish my 84 year old fishing bud that was a Bass/Hybrid guide for 24 years. But with that said I always listen intently because I respect my elders and they've seen so much more than me.
  2. Nope. I couldn't afford to feed it.
  3. A cross between Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson and the Hulk. Because I go all out and sometimes HulkOut according to friends.
  4. In 1999 I was 19 and fishing on a 15 acre farm when I caught a 7lb 2oz LM on 2lb mono. That girl hit a Renosky Keystone minnow. I was already consumed with bass fishing but from that point I started using more appropriately sized gear.
  5. Unethical? No. I only use artificial for bass. I will use small Spots for Flatheads.
  6. Surface Eel grass. Nothing more invigorating than having 8 or 9 cast out of 10 fouled up with big swim baits you've cast 40 - 60 yards.
  7. Excellent. It's great when an educated judgement call pays off.
  8. 1 to 5+ depending on the day. Some days it's bank or wading a creek, fishing with a single rod and a handful of lures. Most of the time I'm on my 14' camo metal sled with a 25 Mercury, Solix 15, 360 Imaging, 80lb Terrova, 10 - 15 rods, and a silly amount of tackle under the deck.
  9. Low 20's! Wow, I literally can only imagine. I lost a couple low teeners but you're speaking of a different class of bass.
  10. Always refill at Tractor Supply.
  11. I want to see if it's actually a bass and not a big Carp/Cat/Striper. That way I can return to the area and hunt her.
  12. Welcome to the forum.

    Welcome to the forum JJP.
  14. It'll be fine with a deck. I built my deck literally on the top of the rails on my 1448. It's going on 20 years old and for years carried 2 or 3 folks with bows a gazillion miles of shoreline. Nobody ever accidentally got wet. Here's some pics.
  15. I can't bring myself to shoot our freeloading Fox Squirrels. Too big, pretty, and rare, so we share the garden. Grey Squirrels on the other hand receive no such mercy.
  16. Professional Pear/Tomato thief
  17. Excellent. $14.97 on Amazoon.
  18. Here in Ga. we have 40 nonvenomous snakes and 7 venomous. I can recognize all 7 venomous and some of the 40 nonvenomous. I've seen 9 snakes in the last 7 days. Waded through many a swamps both day and night, sometimes chest deep while hunting and fishing and I've never been bit. I used to catch and handle every snake I ran across, I grown wiser as antivenom is expensive.
  19. Big crawler at night.
  20. Awesome. Y'all will get them next time. Better to hook her and lose her than not hook her at all.
  21. That man really lived.
  22. Excellent. May I suggest a Spro KGB Glide.
