  1. It's hard to teach your girl to tie a SDJ knot when all she wants to is sleep.
  2. A school of bass blowing up on shad. The abrupt silencing of my running buzzbait.
  3. I wouldn't call it a big bait, but I catch alot on my Bull Wake.
  4. Very nice
  5. On a Loomis, the Aldebaran or Aldebaran BFS The Aldebaran will cast that weight easily but the BFS is just lovely to run.
  6. That'd make reloading a real @itch.
  7. I use a small bucket of sand to train my extensor muscles. MassBass is correct as it definitely makes a difference.
  8. I park close to the store and get back out in the sticks as quick as I can. Intown people are crazy. I've got plenty of hilly cow pasture fence line to walk. On the grip training, I suggest Captains of Crush. Most should start with the "Guide" gripper. They're not cheap but will last forever.
  9. TSI 321 on all my bearings
  10. Looks like a OSP I've got but with a few mods. Link to the lure? My Monkey is curious.
  11. I wrestle cows and train the meanest female fighting Dachshund around our property. Those two keep me agile, so I still weight train for strength 3 - 4 times a week depending on my fishing schedule. But I'm still wet behind my ears as I'll only be 50 text month.
  12. You're right. The 1/0 EWG Gamakatsu is a perfect match. I've caught some nice bass on the Baby Shad when they're targeting tiny baitfish.
  13. Crazy? Probably. But aren't we all. I agree with Bird.
  14. 1 - Spoon 2 - Super Fluke with a weighted hook 3 - Huddleston 68 or 5 or 6" Burrito 4 - Spoon 5 - Spoon
  15. That's pretty fancy gear.
  16. Brother, that's incredible. You're definitely in the right area for big girls, throwing the right swimbait. What swimbaits did you catch those girls on?
  17. A 4.5 - 6" curly tail worm with a 3/16 bullet weight T - Rigged would be a fine starting point. A weightless Wacky for a beginner is gonna deep hook alot of fish. IMHO
  18. I was just trying to be nice about the weigh, some folks are sensitive.🙂 If you'd break out the fishing robe, that'd even up the odds. Looks like a fine trip.
  19. Alex, that man's half your age and outweighs by 40+ lbs. It wasn't a fair competition. 😆
  20. Encountered YES. The DNR says we don't have them here in Ga.. Everytime I'm in Publix I'm concerned for my well-being with all the Cougars. I wear this gray beard but I'm pretty sure they can tell I'm younger than I look. It's a truly dangerous situation because you're not supposed to turn your back on them. But when there's dozens, what are gonna do?
  21. I would've also sent it back. Taking something you didn’t pay for will make hair grow on your palms or make you pee in the bed. I think that's what I was told.
  22. I used to hear complaints about lures in the washer and dryer, the complaints finally stopped.
  23. I clean reels in the Summer, it's my slow season.
  24. Prayer sent. But he's gonna be fine, he's a fishing machine.
