  1. Gonna find out this Winter, I've just retired from deer hunting.
  2. The trick with the helicoptering baits is to helicopter clockwise one cast then counter clockwise the next cast. It's very simple, unless you think about it. 😆
  3. Thoughts & Prayers sent, JB. My sister just had surgery to remove Cancer that was caught early. She has 6 weeks of radiation treatments coming up.
  4. Nice. I loaded cows for the auction this morning then cut and loaded limbs out of my yard. I'm pretty sure I lost 5 - 7 lbs in sweat. Fall weather! Must be nice.
  5. Welcome to the forum.
  6. #PRIORITIES Catt, we may be related.
  7. Wow! Jar, I'm glad you're ok. That's nightmare fuel as my SOP is to jump off the mower or tractor and do a 40 yard sprint. But with a busted leg you just had to take it. I carry Benadryl when I bush hog, because it's not a question of if I'm getting stung, but when.
  8. "Need to be broken in" is fine reason to go fish.

    Welcome to the forum.
  11. Excellent. I'm so looking forward to cooler weather/water fishing.
  12. Nice. I'm 69" x 38" at 246 lbs, if that helps.😁
  13. Just Do It! 😁
  14. Oh yeah. From 16 to 22 years of age, I had access to 11 community ponds across 3 counties that I could only fish at night. I spent many hundreds of hours fishing those ponds in my 1232 jon with a paddle and never saw another soul in the scary darkness.
  15. Good luck, with a good clean/lube it'll be fine.
  16. Very nice. I prefer having my fun in the dark.
  17. I've caught alot of big fish on short trips with a pack of Super Flukes and BPS Stickos stuffed in my pocket, on a med - heavy BCer. You can fish them fast or fish them slow and I've never come across a small body of water those two baits won't catch bass.
  18. Let that shoulder heal up and you'll be getting us more pics soon. Might want to try a pack of the Gamakatsu Nano hooks, apparently you can think about setting the hook and you'll have them pinned.
  19. He was baiting you scaleface. Those worms have been riding around in his boat for months.😁 When I hear dock talk of a bass 5 or more lbs, my question is what brand scale do you have.
  20. Mostly the shallow & deep standard JB. I do have a handful shad's that I've weighted to super slow sink that have given me a few great days.
  21. Took a Crappie fishing buddy of mine bass fishing a couple Springs ago on a grassy lake. I tied him a T - Rigged TRD on a 2/0 EWG and 1/16 oz tungsten bullet weight on his medium spinning rod. As we're easy along I look back and he's just trolling it, facing straight out the back of the boat. I threw big swimbaits, chatterbaits, Flukes, etc. and he caught three times the fish I caught that day and the big fish. Opened my eyes to power of the T - Rigged TRD, which why alot of my pictured fish have one hanging out of it's mouth.
  22. Never Shapied my braid. I just fish for the old fat girls with cataracts.
  23. That's excellent.
  24. Marina/Bait shop Monkey's are twice as aggressive as a standard bait Monkey. Could've been worse.😆
