  1. Wonderful!
  2. I forgot my favorite pic of my little Beasty, getting ready to bust up her shadow.
  3. You any good with a cast net?šŸ˜ They are likely feeding on bait much smaller than the lures you're throwing. But here's some baits. - 3/8 Cotton Cordell jigging spoon retrieved quickly and even skipping along the surface - Damiki Slim Jack or any shallow Jerkbait - Rapala floating minnow or a small Wakebait - 1/4 lipless - Super Fluke & the Jr. many times just allowing it to sink amongst the school will work - small popper or walking bait - Spybait
  4. Really depends on what your gear can handle and your baitfish, they all catch fish. I fish the Slow Sink 5, 6, 7, 8, 9", Floating 5 & 6" , Wake Bull, and the Bull Herring which shouldn't be overlooked for Herring lakes.
  5. Just PM your current address. šŸ˜‚
  6. I'd skip the S and go with the 6500C3.
  7. My lovely wife's 6.1 lber, that I was able to guide her to, long before we had gray hair.
  8. Stay away from Ga., it's full of Dawgs.šŸ˜
  9. A good story is a good story, whether it's true or not.šŸ˜ƒ
  10. Been working on learning the language of Micropterus salmoides for over four decades. Just when I somewhat feel like I'm getting close, in comes Micropterus punctulatus across the river and I'm behind the curve again.šŸ˜„ Sorry brother, I'm no help.
  11. Jack goes under the axle, not the trailer tubing.
  12. You ain't gonna catch nothing on that thing.šŸ¤£
  13. 4 lb line and under with a rod and reel rated for that line is UL, IMHO.
  14. Shoot to stay proficient, weight train, and teach 84 year olds the art of shooting steel at 500 yards with a 22lr. I used to bowfish alot, shoot long range comps, and hunt EVERYTHING legal in Ga.
  15. Sadly the amount of fuel/time I burn in tractors, zero turns, and big trucks, doesn't leave enough time for me to go over a fishing travel budget. Typically I get my boat on the water twice a week. In a month my truck burns $180($5 a gallon) and Mercury burns $80 - 90($4 a gallon). So $260 -270 a month, but given the time I'll gladly double that and some months I do. Many short trips to fish local ponds are not included. My fishing budget is one of the many reasons I married a Doctor.šŸ˜†
  16. Early this morning I was soaking wet with sweat working on a tractor in 78 degrees. This evening I was soaking wet while weedeating in 93 degrees. It's still very much Summer here.
  17. That's illegal. I too am an outlaw.šŸ˜†
  18. My girl is alot of things but she'll never be just a dog.
  19. 30 will be good
  20. I've got a Aldebaran BFS coming that would work great with the Seaguar PE - X8 braid. I will never buy or fish with fuzzy dice.
  21. Wonderful. That visit was as good for you as it was for him. Thank you. This is the type of behavior, Glenn demands of forum members.šŸ˜
  22. Tried & true man here. I've been taking pics of all my fish with the lure hanging out of their mouth for years. I review those pics before every trip and give those same lures and locations a chance. But if it's not working I'm quick to change my tactics.
  23. Caught my first Flathead today(not ever), while actually targeting catfish, dragging chicken.
