  1. Is it Bluetooth compatible? ?
  2. I've had these Browning aluminum needle nose for 6 or 7 years and they're good. I always carry true compound cutter in case a hook needs to be cut after pushing it thru a hand, arm, cheek, etc.
  3. What exactly are you doing with them to cause a rash??
  4. Thanks. My Monkey just woke me up to read this.
  5. Whatever I was catching them on during the downpour.
  6. Hornady Lock N Load Sonic cleaner 2 liter. I clean my bearings, main gears, and worm gear with it. Makes my annual deep clean of 50+ reels quicker. Cycle time with heat until I'm satisfied that it's clean. I fill my ultrasonic cleaner with distilled water and use a shot glass filled to the same level full of acetone to drop my parts in and clean. Easier to change the dirty shot glass worth of acetone than all the fluids.
  7. I don't understand y'alls addiction to bass fishing. I'm not addicted at all. But everytime I see a family member, friend, or coworker they always ask me fishing related questions. No idea what that's about. I wouldn't fish as often as I do but my wife forces me to go. I was really concerned about her wanting me gone all the time. So I ask her why she wanted me to go fishing so much. She said if you're fishing you're not ordering fishing stuff. $100 swimbait here, $400 reel there, or $200 rods. She exaggerates. I explained to her I spend very little compared to those BASSRESOURCE guys. Seriously it's the freedom to make the right/wrong decision about where/when to fish, what lure, line, rod, and reel. If you don't catch them it's on you. They're eating somewhere on your lake.
  8. When it's windy and I'm alone I've got one ear bud in listening to classical, country, rock, or metal. The waves hitting my little aluminum boat gets old quickly. No rap music. No rap music. The BASS GODS hate rap music.? On a calm day/night no music for me.
  9. Out by myself fishing I wear my inflatable 100% of the time. Spent years as a lifeguard and swim like a fish unless I hit my head on the way into the water. I fish all weather conditions and it get pretty exciting at times in my 14 footer.
  10. Must have a water bed. ?
  11. Bony? Yeah just as bony as crappie, bream, stripers, hybrids, and yellow perch. I fillet my largemouth bass and they are boneless and delicious.
  12. Bluegill were spawning in my pond last week here in Georgia.
  13. Not superstitious. But I wear a lucky green thong backwards and inside out. Started as a convenience of one less layer to relieve myself during the colder months but it brought the luck year round. I begin wearing it many years and 120 lbs ago. My fishing partners not crazy about during the summer and it's a bit tight at this point . Hasn't seemed to work in a while. Thinking I'll just start wearing my normal briefs while fishing. If y'all have folks encroaching on you while fishing a thong worn backwards inside out seems to dissuade them. Give it a try.?
  14. 1448 Lowe with all aluminum deck and floor. I've had 750 lbs of bowfishermen standing and shooting at the same time. I did weld flotation pods on the transom. Width=Stability
  15. Almost time to break out my big swimbaits. I'd take two winters and give up summer in a heartbeat.
  16. Wow! That's crazy. My 12 year old Berkley Cherrywood that cost me $20 is still catching fish.
  17. I've got 15 or 20 and fish them regular. This morning me and my buddy caught 11 spots off one point that were busting shad. Couldn't get them to hit a topwater lure. I fish the 80 on a light spinning rig and the G-fix and 90 on a light casting rig. In my experience most don't allow the spybait to sink long enough and retrieve it too fast. At time we'll let it sink to the bottom and start a slow steady retrieve . They've just come out with the 72. Got to order some of those now.
  18. Zoom shakey head worm and magnum shakey head worm work .
  19. I always take into consideration the food sources before I fish a small pond. I start with small and fast lures no matter the season or water temp and allow the fish to show me which way to adjust. A 1/4 oz buzz bait, 1/8 to 1/4 oz spinnerbait, and small floating Rapala are baits I'll start with at basically any pond. If I'm catching small bass pretty good and fish a piece of cover and don't catch any that's when I stop. Then I will throw a stick worm, fluke, or trick worm weightless and pick that area apart thoroughly. That's where I tend to catch my bigger fish. They'll run off the smaller fish.
  20. I prefer the Spiderman combo for heavy cover fishing. I spooled mine with real Spider wire.
  21. Exactly. Many were working. Possibly on their 2nd job while your were fishing.
  22. Good for you. I shoot and eat.
  23. BPS sells a retractable catch & release scale for $2.49
  24. Zebco 202 will sling it all. Spool it with 50 lb dacron that has been stretched to 1.76 times it's original length 1) to thin it and 2) to semi fuse it. Just pick the appropriate rod for the lures weight. You'll be covered from shiners to sharks.
