  1. Use them on dock lights for hybrids.
  2. A floating lipless works pretty good in ponds from the bank.
  3. Vertical spooning
  4. Red/black works pretty good.
  5. Don't waste your money. Find you a doc to prescribe 100% O2 you'll be amazed how much faster, harder, and longer you can fish. Talk about being alert & focused. If the doc fishes it's much easier getting the script.
  6. I've got a 3700 deep Plano full of most brands and a wide assortment of colors. I have no dividers in it, so it's 4 long slots. I choose which slot I'll extract a jerkbait with Einy Meeny Miny Moe. Then I'll grab one and of course they're all hooked together and shake. The first one to shake loose gets fished. This selection style works only if you fish with confidence. ?
  7. 20 something years ago I caught a 7.2 LM on 2 lb mono while fishing for bream with a Renosky Keystone Minnow. I always carry a UL when fishing ponds and did today. Caught 15 just slow reeling parallel to the bank with a Rapala on 4 lb test.
  8. Yes. Dry bearing will spin faster. Oiling them slows them down offering better control but shortens your casting distance. Dry SS bearing won't last long. Ceramics are very fast dry which is why many people oil them for better control and noise reduction.
  9. Need to feel one up. But it's gonna have to be something special because my Tranx 400 and tuned Revo Toro Beast are nice.
  10. Gotta be Columbia PFG???? SDJ knot to a snap ring works pretty good.
  11. On the job we accrued sick days and that's what I used when I just had to go to the lake. Read the company policy and it's basically just a personal day. They call them sick days because a certain percentage of manly men like to say they never get sick so they wind up not using them. I got paid 10 hours to fish, 8 days a year.?
  12. You could've tested it in my yard a couple days ago.
  13. I've got a friend that has the 1600 and it fishes just fine. He powered his with Mercury 4 stroke 25hp(lake hp restrictions) and it just will plane off with us and tackle so stepping up to the 50 would be a good idea. The compartments are not water proof. I'd definitely look into the Command Thrust 50 hp with the larger gearbox/prop for better control at slow speeds. His boat with the tiny prop is squirrelly at slow speeds.
  14. No indoor pool in your area??
  15. I fished for decades blind(no electronics) on my boat and had no idea if the fish, baitfish, and structure were even in the area I was fishing. Fish with friends that had electronics and I'd have much more productive days. My time is valuable and my Solix 15, spot locking Terrova and 360 Imaging are cheap in comparison. With that said my PB and top 3 LM were caught from the bank.
  16. Revo Winch cranks 10xd's like a squarebill
  17. Yearly routine consists of buying new fishing license & parking/lake passes. No down time for us southern fishermen. We have do handle all the maintenance, cleaning, purchasing, and organizing all while continuing to fish. ?
  18. They handle both task just fine
  19. Oh. Fancy. Looks good.
  20. Your tub must be bigger & deeper than my tub. I just can flip a squarebill on my 5' creek rods in my bathroom.?
  21. Monkey's looking over my shoulder as I read this. So I'll have some soon.
  22. Browning. They come with a sheath & lanyard
  23. I fish the Pro only. I fish my shakey heads in grass often and the regular head doesn't handle me popping the grass off.
  24. Glad I could help.?
  25. Nice. Thanks.
