  1. A $25 Berkley Cherrywood 5'6" Medium works great for small ponds and tight creeks.
  2. Gear ratios and rod length weren't an option when I bought my combos. But I've got Spiderwire. I think.
  3. Fancy. That's alot of bling. Hope you crush them on it.
  4. The water temperature is the #1. Super Fluke weightless except during winter.
  5. Let me guess. You caught it around WEED??
  6. Me too. 2020 Z - 71 RST 6.2 3.23 10 speed trans
  7. Great work and congratulations on three 7 lb Smallmouth. Wow!
  8. After a couple hours of throwing 5+ ounce swimbaits, swapping to a Ned rig is very nice.
  9. 7 more $50 orders and I'll be able to wrap my boat in TW stickers.
  10. Excellent. Great alternative to the fluke.
  11. Lowe 1448, trailer, 25 hp Mercury 2 stroke, All aluminum decking, sub floor, center floor, many feet of angle aluminum, built 10 - 3600 trays storage under deck, front & rear aluminum hatches, built aluminum battery trays in the rear seat, 9.739 miles of wires/cables, Minn KotaTerrova 80 I - Pilot With Bluetooth, Minn Kota quick release mount, 360 Imaging with a Cornfield Crappie mount, Solix 15 SI GPS Bluetooth on a Kong mount, 3 Duracell group 31 AGM's, exterior green LEDs, interior red LEDs, under deck LED lighting, 8 switch gang panel custom labeled, Delta Volt Tri Pro on board charger, 750 Gph bilge pump, hand built(welded) pods, wife spent 25 hours doing a camo stencil paint job, removed the oar mounts, fuse panel, 2 battery shutoffs, some kinda Humminbird box under ther deck, Tuff coated all walk on surfaces, Driftmaster bases all over for trolling/catfishing, and I'm sure there's more. It adds up and that's with free labor.
  12. Several local tournament anglers I've fished with use the Excel line in 12 lb and under mono applications.
  13. I've got over 14 G's in my 14' er. They can and do make you lighter in the pocket but she's a perfect bass chasing moosheen.
  14. I go no matter what the winds is doing when it's warm. Now below freezing temps with 20 mph is just a bit too much. Fished 8 hours last week in constant 20 mph and 3' foot waves with gust to 40+ mph. Boat is a decked Lowe 1448 with a Minn Kota Terrova 80 lb. Spot Lock has enabled me to use the wind to my benefit. I'd rather fish heavy winds than glass conditions.
  15. Here's the 9.9 lber. The bass pictured above is larger. ^^^^^^^^
  16. Excellent. Thanks Glenn
  17. Excellent! But you can do better. I'd go again.?
  18. I have calculated numbers for my biggest bank bass. She made my also bank caught 9.9 lber look short and petite.
  19. My fishing partner's jacket works great and I don't have to worry about washing it. His wife thinks that he catches fish. It's a Win - Win.
  20. A quick look produced no results for me.
  21. Nothing. Just do your thing. You likely showed that PB fish something different and it worked.
  22. I've noticed the guys that are consistently on the fish use Shimano. ????? I fish Abu, Lew's, and Shimano atm. I figured my Abu's would wear out so I could replace them with Shimano's but I can't kill'em. I bought a Daiwa with the TW and spooled it up only to have pull half the line off to get it not to rub the cross bar. I swapped it for a Shimano I could spool with the correct amount of line.
  23. I've got 14 combos in my jon boat that I'm fishing out of this morning with a variety of types of lines and lbs. One type and lb line is simply against my religion.
