  1. Great glidebait fish, Pat.
  2. Baitcaster
  3. Aweful. Sad. Preventable.
  4. I'll watch at some point because it's Tyson. I'm with T-Billy on the outcome.
  5. No doubt. I had a Max that could've been Ben's twin.
  6. Excellent. I'm amazed at how few fishing videos rarely mention water temperature. It's big driver on how, when, and what baits I fish.
  7. Sounds like a great trip, be safe, and good luck. Looking forward to the story.
  8. Yes I'll carry multiple rods for the same technique. Twenty to 25 rods is easily done in a 1448 if fishing solo.
  9. Nice. Closes to Legos I've got are my AR's and 10/22's.
  10. My PB is 3.1 lb at 17 &1/4 inches. So 22 inches for some of the record fish sounds right to me.
  11. Cause I'm a big man that runs hot.
  12. Caught 27 Blues today dragging chicken.
  13. Just TREATED myself to a good brisket sandwich, bake beans, and fries.
  14. I use SimpleGreen and water.
  15. Very nice.
  16. Are y'all talking about Spinning, Baitcast, or Spincast reels? I need to learn to cast a baitcaster.
  17. Nice slabs
  18. You could just cast with your other hand and eliminate the backhand cast.
  19. Yes. I fish the 8lb on 2 Aldebaran BFS's. It cast great and is small diameter line.
  20. Ohioguy25, the SDJ works great tied to a snap. On most of my big hard baits, I use Decoy Egg snaps. Once I install a snap, it's never removed from that bait.
  21. When casting chopping glides, I make alot of cast per hour, so I retie roughly every hour. I also start every trip with a fresh SDJ knot. If I catch a fish or pull hard in a snag, I retie. I fish 20 & 25 BG and 20,25, & 30 CXX.
  22. I can't give you a specific distance. I fish pressured clear open water and make longer cast. I've at times not been able to get a good hook set fishing straight 8 & 10 lb FC on ML & M rods with small T - Rigs. Probably just a lack of skill, technique, and strength.😀
  23. Welcome to the forum.
