    I picked up a Megabass Orochi XX Leviathan 8' Med Fast 2 - 8 oz and topped it with a Shimano Calcutta Conquest MD 300 XGLH(Long Handle). Spooled it with Daiwa 22lb Samurai Hidden FC. It will be a perfect match for my Jon boat.😁

    I've been a braid to leader user for years. Like A- Jay, I had a fresh spool of FC dump itself on the deck for the last time. Only changing the leader before every trip is easy and allows you to use different pound test Mono or FC.

    Excellent. I'm amazed at how few fishing videos rarely mention water temperature. It's big driver on how, when, and what baits I fish.

    Yes I'll carry multiple rods for the same technique. Twenty to 25 rods is easily done in a 1448 if fishing solo.

    My PB is 3.1 lb at 17 &1/4 inches. So 22 inches for some of the record fish sounds right to me.
