  1. Kinda the same here in Norway. Although the market for telescopics is non existent for casting rods, most people don’t have big nice trucks and bassboats (like you Americans hehehe), so getting 1 piece rods is almost impossible. Its the norm with 2 and 3 piece travel rods? Actually managed to pick up a 13 fishing fate black 1 piece luckily in a shop that imported before 13 made specific european rods. Now they only sell fate black and omen blacks in 2 piece… Back to the point?: maybe the telescopics will feel better for me, thats used to 2 piece rods than many american anglers that are used to 1 piece.
  2. Hey, I just sold my bassboat and I am looking to sell most of my 2 piece and 1 piece rods. I have seen daiwa telescopic rods with floating guides online. For example the triple b. They also have another model called the Daiwa blazon telescopic casting rod. These would go perfectly in the trunk, in case i ever have the chance to do a little pond hopping:) Does anybody have any experience with these, or other “expensive” telescopic rods? (100$ pluss) The blanks look quite well made, so does the guides. (Think it is 24 ton or 30 ton…) Also if someone has tried the Kastking blackhawk 2 i would like to hear what it’s like, even though its much cheaper:) Found other chats a little like this one, but they were broader, about all telescopics. Attached a photo of the blazon.
  3. Does anyone have experience with kastking rods? Mainly the rods under 70 bucks. Are they as good as the youtubers like Debo’s and Kastking themselves say?
  4. I think that it could be good for jerkbaits. If the hook/blade wheights a bit it could make the jerkbait have a nose up position on the pause, and flash of course.
  5. Haha, you have convinced me of the Scorpion. Not only better bearings but better looks as well? Yeah, i also think that they should update the 70 and make a Curado 70 “k” with micro module. The Slx Mgl does not have x-ship and is still a 99.99 reel, just with better braking and an mgl spool.
  6. Thanks! I live in Norway, so i don´t know, but would Shimano NA warrant the curado 70 do you think? (They don´t sell it here so i don´t think Normark Norway would)
  7. So if I can get both for the same price I should get the Scorpion?
  8. Any thoughts on these two reels? (Except cosmetics) Or is it just different names and different colors? I have heard that the american curado always have been better than the japanese scorpion... Thanks for answers!
  9. This fish was caught at the edge of the lily pads, so to be able to fish inside the lilys would be ?
  10. Nice rod but shipping would cost a lot for a 1 piece rod and the customs for a so expensive rod.
  11. Thank’s! We use smaller baits here, but i fish 6inch worms and thats okay. The redfin gets a lot bigger than the yellows. So when people fish for bigger perch (not 50g sizes hahah) we fish closer to bass fishing than yellow fishing. Then it is just to wait for the pads to grow! I fish a lot of waters so they can be thick or thin! Thank’s!
  12. Hey I want to try flipping lily pads for perch here in Norway. I watch alot of bass fishing on Youtube and i have been in the US and fished bass. There i bought a Bass Pro Shops Pro Qualifier 2, 7 fot, M fast. I have noticed that you use heavier rods for lily´s, like MH & H. Is that because the bass is big and hard to get out of the cover? The perch is smaller, a big/nice perch is 2 lbs and up. A REALLY big one is 4 lbs and up. Do you think a M rod is okay for flipping pads for perch or should i buy a H rod? (13 Fishing just got to Norway and with that we get the *American* way of rod ratings!) Thanks! -Nicholas
  13. Thank you everyone! Yesterday i found some braid spools, so the budget for clips suddenly got bigger? Gonna buy size 0 and 1?
  14. I am going to import some fastaches to Norway and was wondering if the size 0 is big enough for crankbaits like SK 1.5 and normal size jigheads. The strength is 15 lbs so it is strong enough. I like buying fishing tackle from the USA, but the customs can be alot and I am buying line too so I don´t want to buy 2 packages. In the context, does anyone use Sufix Siege? Any thoughts?
