  1. Hey guys, I've been fishing in several team tournaments and was wondering how do you guys organize your tackle for when you're on someone else's boat? I have a bag plum full of things to bring but I don't really feel like im organized enough and I tend to leave stuff at home. I usually have 5 tackle storage boxes (jigs, hooks, sinkers, cranks, and whatever they're biting on that time of the year), gallon bag with my plastic and plus my weigh in bag.
  2. Thanks, just by looking on their site they have some great looking jigs and colors are a heck of a deal
  3. Hey, I was wondering where you guys buy your jigs at. I want to buy a surplus of casting and football jigs that are going to be dependable without spending $4+ a jig. - never stop fishing
  4. I have been thinking about hitting up some Creeks for smallmouths and wanted to know what are your guy's go to bait for freak Panda smallmouths. I'm for sure tying the ned rig on.
  5. I forgot to mention it's gets about 10ft in some spots and the grass goes all the way to the surface of the water and also I'm in a 'yak so it's kinda hard to see holes without being right on top of it.
  6. The mo game and wildlife had a man-made lake that I fish out of that is completely covered in thick submerged grass and Lily pad, that I can't figure out what bait works the best. I have tried frogs a lot and it just doesn't seem like its the money bait for that place. Do you guys what I should try.
  7. I actually live not to far from the gasconade and fished from it my whole life. Spent many hours fishing little pockets there. Have you thought about getting a backpack. I bought one from bps for fishing and it was $25 at the time. That what I used until I got a 'yak
  8. So what is your guy's go to color? I fish bull shoals and norfork where the water is mostly clear. So I'm sticking with more natural color for the most part. Bass do love pb&j here though. I'm looking to expand my colors and try to find one that best works for me
  9. I understand the frustration. Defiantly watching these guys and trying to get into bass fishing. Idk about the rest of you guys but when I was getting into fishing I would see what the pros used and wanted to buy what they use because if they caught fish ik I could too. With saying that I have became more experienced in fishing and figure out that yes the brand matters sometimes but I can still go out to the lake a catch just as many bass with a salty craw (which you never hear about anymore) as someone using a rage tail.
  10. That is usually my go to baits this time of year as well.
  11. I'm more into z-man line of ned. The trd small stick bait, trd hawg, hula stick and now trd craw. I have it setup on a Lew's rod and reel combo I bought at Walmart.
  12. Hey, what is your guy's setup for ned rigging. Idk if I need a long rod or short and the type of action. I like to hear what you guys have.
  13. He makes a good point. Since it's a pond I'm guessing the bait fish isn't to big, so a drop shot, 4-6 fluro. Might do the trick and I would mix it up between a zoom tiny fluke and a regular one. Just got to match the hatch.
  14. I have been fishing bull shoals for bass a couple years now and was wondering what is your guy's favorite tackle to use. I know jigs are a must but what do everyone like. I personal like to throw the ned rig around some.
