i’m very brand loyal to daiwa. not just because of my OCD, but also because i like to know and be confident in how each rod is going to feel when they are in my hands. whether it’s sensitivity, rod tip, action, or weight.
i’ll add this this discussion again. i totally forgot i have about 10 or so megabass darksleepers in all different weights and colors… thrown them all a bunch of times not even a dang sniff
i noticed daiwa reels have bumped up across the board. tatula ct's are now 139.99 msrp, which is up from 129.99 where they were previously. fuego CT 109.99 instead of 99.99. i beleive the 100's 150's and 200's also moved up too. i expect all brands to see this coming shortly.
my local shop here in CT. Sad stuff, they are great people! I just snagged two visions 110's that were listed for 19.99 + 20% discount for local pickup. absolute steal
my local tackle supply is unfortunately going out of business. 20% off everything that they have left. www.tacklesupplydepot.com
"Due to circumstances beyond our control Tackle Supply Depot has
decided to close the business. The decision was tough to make but necessary at this time. We would like to thank all our customers for their support over the years."
took advantage of the state team discount. if you guys haven't checked out any of beast coast's stuff yet you're missing out. dynamite company with dynamite products
According to the diagrams, the Sniper looks to be the better overall option here. Both are pretty much at the same price point. For those who have used either, what are your experiences?
edit: will be used mainly for flipping/pitching soft plastic texas rigs, jigs, etc
