McCoy xtra-clear co-polymer is the best copoly i've used and does not get talked about AT ALL. i like it better than p-line, sufix, yo-zuri.
as for as fluoro goes, i stick with seaguar invisx 99% of the time
the only applications i use braid:
casting reels while frogging, flipping and pitching dirty water or heavy matted cover/lily pads.
spinning reels braid with a fluoro leader on all setups.
other than that i use fluorocarbon and copolymer for all other techniques and applications.
google earth is great for finding ponds. if it is a large lake that i am not familiar with and has boat or kayak access, i use both google earth and navionics web app (https://webapp.navionics.com/#boating@6&key=wjmzFfhr}L) for an in depth sonar chart for channel swings, points, flats, etc.
scott martin just lost a giant the second he grabbed his line to land the fish. why do these guys grab their line to try to land fish? i honestly don't get it. makes me CRINGE.
edit: same thing happened last tournament, i can't remember who it was
