Has anyone been fishing around the Minneapolis metro area. Just wondering what they have been biting and what type of cover they have been relating to right now.
The only reason I said "finicky" was because I had a smallmouth that was easily over 5 pounds right in front of me on a bed and I threw everything I had at her and she never committed to any bait. I did this for 2 days at different times of the day. She must have been the smartest fish I have ever seen!
It depends on what lake and what region of the state you live in. I have seen some lakes where bass have already spawned before the opener and others where we are still fishing some pre-spawn fish in early to mid-June.
Just wanna get some ideas of where to fish this upcoming summer, not looking for you to spill the beans about your secret spots, just looking for some general lakes to fish
