  1. Gotta go fishin' fish for life ##** lost him
  2. I just picked up some Eeliminators and Smokin Roosters because I watched a video and their action is awesome and I just like those kind of baits. I am also going to give the lizard a good workout in the spring. Right now I don't have a favorite but I have high hopes for all of these.
  3. When it matters it really matters and I don't think any science or logic can explain it, but those who have fished long enough have expierenced it. It is what it is.
  4. You don't really need to change a thing. The U tail may work better on days when the bass want something with less action. Have at it, don't get into a rut, try some different retreives. What works for you in your waters may be different from another area. Don't be too confined by the "rules".
  5. The only complaint I could have about Rage Tail baits is they are too big for the waters I fish. We just don't have large numbers of big bass in this area.
  6. This did not answer my question, but they were very quick with a reply. I am not knocking Tackle Warehouse it is one of my favorite places. The Yellow Magic Poppers are actually now assembled in China. Please e-mail info@*** or call 1-800-300-4916 and one of our customer service representatives will be happy to help if you have any questions or concerns. Thank you for choosing Tackle Warehouse.
  7. It was around in the fifties but it did not have a fancy name. It was a jig and worm, still is. Some will say it is fished differently now, it is not.
  8. Many years ago it was either purple or black. Both of those are still among the best all around colors you can use, I have caught tons of bass on purple soft baits.
  9. How do you know which one you are buying? I assume the Japan model is a better bait. What do you ask for when that is the one you want?
  10. Bagley no doubt and in very good shape.
  11. I have only heard good things about them and I will be trying them this spring.
  12. Very well said Big O I agree with all of that. Some days it may not be as important as others but it should always be considered.
  13. Someone will catch a big un on one and we will all be buying them.
  14. Now I can go fish a junebug, green pumpkin, watermelon red, camo worm and I won't need 4 outfits.
  15. There are so many other things to use that would not polute the waters. Why take a chance with that stuff? It really isn't that cheap.
  16. Locating bass, once located you can usually get them to hit something.
  17. Thanks for all of the tips and suggestions. I have tried all sorts of shapes to find something that did not snag a lot but all of them seemed to have some issues. The Lindy is a good sinker and worked better than most others, seems that all of those bent weights are better in rocks. I have even bent the old flat lead sinkers. I will certainly try that MoJo weight first trip this spring, might be the answer. I also prefer Tru Tungsten when I can use it. Maybe I am looking for the perfect sinker. I don't know. Thanks again
  18. You can get a good answer to any question on this site. The members are a smart group of fishermen.
  19. Would that be the most snagless shape for the rocky conditions?
  20. I did a search for this but did not find the information I wanted. I have used the C rig for years for certain situations, but I have never found a weight that I have been completly satisfied with. Most of my C rigging is done on rocky bottoms. What are you guys using that works well for you in that situation?
  21. Wow that video convinced me I ordered. Also ordered some of the Eeliminators. Now I have to wait till ice out to try these guys. Well done Big O
  22. Confidence Experience Patience Logic
  23. I think the Pointers are in a class all by themselves, probably one of the best baits ever. My expierence with the rest has been pretty average.
  24. As well as the original Big O
  25. I use Yo Zuri 6 lb on my spinning outfits. Last spring I caught a 39 pound flat head on a small crank and fought it for 40 minutes. That line held up remarkedly well. Of course there was some abrasion from that monster's teeth.
