  1. Are these two types of batteries compatible in this circuit? Will this configuration create problems?
  2. For me in this area it has been a seven inch Berkley Power worm. Black or black and blue is always dependable. It is really more about location and presentation than any particular bait.
  3. Speed Traps, a very under rated bait.
  4. Very good discussion. Any time we can get Paul Roberts involved we are all going to get a lot smarter.
  5. This is a very bad feature of tungsten weights, particularly the cheap brands The only ones I ever used that did not cut line was Tru Tungsten and I have not found anything else that comes close. I bought up a lot of them when they were going out of business and I am looking for another brand just as good.
  6. Both. Each one is a tool that does the job a little differently and it would be wise to know which of your crank baits have a wide wobble and the ones who run tight. And you should not limit them to any one time or any one application. I try each one on every trip to see which the bass prefer on that particular day.
  7. Speed Traps especially in cold water.
  8. I have 4 of these and they look awful good to me. The craw pattern is incredible.
  9. Best I have ever used by far I won't use any other.
  10. I think this may be about as accurate as a scientific weather forecast
  11. Some I have heard over the years "when the dogwood trees are blooming crappie fishing is at it's peak"................. I think this one is right on in this area "when the leaves on the oak trees are as big as a squirrel's ear, the top water fishing is very good"................I like this one too "when the cows are laying down in the fields the fishing will be bad" ..................don't like this one. How active can a cow be?? "when you see a lot of game moving about, like deer and turkeys, the bass will be very active".............. maybe, maybe not. here is one that I believe that know one seems to talk about When I pull up into a bay or an area where the turtles are sunning on logs I catch bass there. This has been true for years. OK let's hear some of yours, I bet there are some good ones from around the country.
  12. I believe the Pointer is the one expensive bait that is really worth the price. For me there is not another jerk bait that even comes close , they just out perform any other and I am not sure why.
  13. All of the above plus a Shad Rap and a very old Wiggle Wart.
  14. I don't know if I would say they are my favorites , but two of my most productive over the years have been the old Bagley Balsa B and Killer B.
