  1. There is some retention ponds I can share if you shoot me a message. You got to be willing to walk through some thick stuff to fish but there are fish. Also, chace lake in hoover has some fish, its small, highly pressured but easy to get to and access from the bank. I would second the cahaba. You can walk it or find shore spots with some google searches. There are red eye and its fun to catch em. I haven't spent alot of time there but a buddy just moved to a house that backs up to it, we walked it once and caught a bunch of red eye bass through worms.
  2. 1.Catch a fish on drop shot 2. Improve frog fishing 3. Catch a fish in water deeper than 7 feet
  3. Recently I've been fishing at Lake Heather a good bit. It is close by and easy to get to. I haven't been fishing for too long so I haven't spent much time on the big lakes. How about you?
  4. @HeyCoach I am in the Birmingham area.
  5. New to the forum from Alabama. I have been lurking and learning from yall for a couple of years now. I figured it was time to actually become an active member and join the discussion. I have been fishing for only a few years and I fish when I can here in Alabama. I only have a small jon boat but it gets me on the water. Looking forward to interacting with everybody, and thanks for all the knowledge! it has helped me out tremendously. Cheers, Matt
