thanks for the info...I am going to the show in springfield next week and plan on stopping at mass bass and seeing if I can get hooked up....no pun intended!

I have, and honestly not a single BASS affiliated club I have contacted has shown any kind of intrest in having me join. Once they hear non boater, they are done.

I'm gonna go ahead and say I will back up how "cool" I may or may not look by dropping a 5 pounder on the deck. But when I do, I will tell my kid the shirt he made was why.... LOL.... I don't.. but thanks

Non boater...but former boater so I am capable. With a trailer too. I think I am pretty good, and will prove it by helping or I will pay all the entry fees back. Ideally you need someone who can go anytime...anyplace ...with no notice. I am divorced, happily. My kids are grown. My career is extremely flexible. You call...I am there. I have specialized in deep clear rocky bass...and everything else is a piece of cake. I am a very serious fisherman and hope to team up with the same. thanks for reading

Hey its not like me to respond to posts like this....but first...my kid got one of the bass pro shops jerseys they sell in the catalog now. then he emailed a bunch of companies and requested patches. he and his mom took then to a seamstress and had them sewn on. He then surprised me with my birthday present. He wanted me to have a pro **** because the columbia pfg shirt i wear had no patches like the guys on tv. Think I dont wear that shirt? Or care who thinks I am a tool for wearing it? And besides...I play softball with friends wearing a red sox shirt. It does put you in the state of mind. the real question is when will MLF or BASS or any of them start selling legit replica shirts?

yeah...I mean..I have fished there weekly for the last 11 years. Its the only place I fish unless someone with a boat brings me someplace else. I am buying a boat for quabbin this winter. Last year I had 47 rental tickets by closingday. I think that is an average for the 11 years, so I know it pretty well. It is at the same level now as when I first fished it...and theres a lot of stuff underwater that hasnt been for a very long time. Obviously the smallmouth season is awesome...but I spend the summer trying to catch some of the largemouth there. They are super challenging to catch, and once the smallmouth bail to water really hard to fish with the rentals...its largemoth time till sepyember 15th or so...

So...I'm new to this forum and I'm looking for someone to fish quabbin with. I preferr you know it and have a bass boat. I have been fishing there for 18 years from there rental boats and am tired of the small motors and leaky boats. I'll show you what I know. You show me what you do. I am pretty dedicated to Quabbin. I fish for both species and continue to fish throughout the summer there. Ask me more. I fish as often as possible...but always always one weekend day. Anyone want to learn quabbin?? You have to dedicate your boat to the seal....or pay for half the rentals.
