I live in Germantown, TN but I go all over the Memphis area. I am also relatively new to fishing. I love fly fishing for bass because you feel any small bumps you get while fishing for them.

I would love to get more info on great and easy places to catch bass during the winter, spring, and summer.

I do not really have a favorite lake or river. I just look at google maps before I go fishing and drop a pin on the lake, pond, creek, or river.

About Me

For bass fishing, I really enjoy fly fishing. I love throwing poppers, mouse patters, woolly buggers, shad streamers, and BIG meant streamers that sink to the bottom. I am also relatively new to bass fishing as well.

I go to college in Ohio, so I am really only home during the winter, spring, and summer. I would love to know about good locations to fish in and around the Memphis area during the winter, spring, and summer. I would also like to know what lures or flies y'all use during these seasons.

Thanks so much roadwarrior. I am more interested in fly fishing, and I was wondering if you have any good tactics for that. Should I use my sinking streamers or could I still catch bass on those topwater poppers?
I live in Germantown, TN but I am looking for good locations to fish in and around the Memphis, TN and Shelby County area during the winter. Do any of y'all have good suggestions? If you guys have good suggestions, what lures, flies, or baits did y'all use when fishing those locations?
