  1. I always keep them on hand. Use them in the same situation as I do a roadrunner. When I can't get the bass to bite anything else....I go small. (saltwater also)
  2. I am in the market to make a bulk lure purchase to fill a spot on the game room wall. Please shoot me a PM if you are still interested.
  3. That is my absolute favorite lure in my collection. Not because it was effective, but because I think it was one of the worst lures ever released by big name lure company. I can't fathom how that design made it through all the checks and balances internally before being released.
  4. Yes. Still hope to visit your rebel museum someday.
  5. That's awesome ....congrats Alex! It took me 8-10 years of patience and persistence to get tapped on the shoulder to do that job as well. Its a wonderful and humbling feeling to wake up everyday and get paid for doing something you love to do. I can't emphasize enough to others who might be wanting to do something you are passionate about on "patience and persistence" especially in a generation full of the instant gratification, self deserving mindset.
  6. I love em. Used to keep one tucked in my wallet. Need to scoop up a lot more just in case the new owners of H&H decide to discontinue.
  7. If I am watching everyone zigging and zagging and not getting anything in a pressured environment I get off in the distance with live bait and start raking them in. Works the first time...everytime.
  8. Jackpot!! Thanks, anonymous fellow Texan!! Those Lake Fork Magic Shad are some fish catching baits!
  9. I try to also buy local where/when possible. But I also understand the benefits of Bass Pro and other large retailers private label brands as they provide all the styles of baits for someone to try/use who may be on a very fixed or tight income and otherwise would not be able to afford name brand.
  10. When we gettin them there names and address's?
  11. We have a huge growing problem with mono cast nets discarded in and along our waterways here in Texas with the mass influx of immigrants. I try to snag, pick up and properly dispose of as many as I find. Just seems like its going to get really worse for us down here. 😪
  12. I have plenty off BPS hardbaits and plastics. The plastics are fine....kinda hard to mess up a soft plastic. The hardbaits have 2 tiers with the better having more intricate paint jobs, better hooks and batch tank tested. The cheaper ones also work fine if you are not a tournament fisherman or trying to catch your double digit. Just lesser grade hooks and basic paint jobs and not tank tested.
  13. I live on the Gulf Coast.
  14. I am 42 years old and have never seen a frozen lake or physical real snow in my life. There is a whole nother world of fishing and outdoors that I have never experienced being down here in Texas. So jealous of you guys.
  15. I'm in
  16. I was all in on Ardent till they moved overseas. Its hard to not see that margin difference and cash in quickly, but its a short-lived rush, and I am sure they have been feeling the effects of that decision for a while now.
  17. The few times I have done that everyone that wasn't after catfish.....was throwing Road Runners.
  18. Wow that is a beautiful reel. I am still not at a point where I cant see myself being worthy of a reel of that magnitude until I learn to be better with my gear. I said that with my new ABU and I scratched it pretty bad last month setting it down upside down on some rocks.
  19. Our lunch on the boat is whatever the closest quickie mart to the boat ramp has. And by the time we get around to eating it you can see through the paper bag. I probably need to look into one of these Stanley food bowls though as I am looking to attempt to be a healthier person.
  20. Yes...so so very much so. 😪
  21. I just bought one on Ebay.....just because of this thread. I gotta stop doing that.
  22. Creme has a version of this that I used as a kid and still use. Great lure
  23. I have the same story as everyone else. Caught a bass on a shiner and released him in clear water...watched him swim straight to my other shiner that was out there and take it. Have this happen quite often with catfish.
  24. Our factory uses brass stencils that clamp around the lures with skillet tongs. Each stencil is a very small shape or pattern and sometimes it can be up to 10 stencils for 1 lure pattern. If very intricate its pad printed.
