Been using the improved clinch knot since I started fishing years ago. For braid to leader I use the Crazy Alberto. Not saying these are best, but very easy for me to tie.

First find a space with decent lighting, a location if something falls on the floor you have 50/50 chance of finding it, also cover up any floor vents. I work on a silicone soldering mat, also if there are small parts you can take the reel apart in a bag or box. Make sure you use the right screwdivers. Last use a quality grease and oil do not over do it. When in doubt go to you tube, I also took pictures of each step of my disassembly. Just take your time,

The majority of my setups are braid to leader, but will depend on the technique.

I got both shots years ago, I would rather have a little discomfort then the shingles.

I was told by my Doc if it is white don't bite and if it is sweet don't eat. Did I listen hell no. Now my cholesterol meds have been doubled and added a med for high blood glucose. I started listening the end of August dropped about 19 lbs and in Nov will have my blood checked again.

I don't use a backing, I am using small dia braid with FC leader(when needed)

What goes in I bring out, unless there are garbage receptables. Some places I fish have special receptables for fishing line. Also I am in the habit of picking up after others.

KK Finesse 13X,8X, Kastpro and for the budget friendly KK Superpro. I use all of these.
