  1. Holy smokes! I'd love to see the mold for those Godzilla plastics! I'm waiting for the reply from someone saying they've seen bigger. ?
  2. I'm interested in making my own soft baits and I'm conscious of the consumption warnings (in every state) with tainted freshwater fish. Looking for an alternative to plastisol to make my baits and not contribute to the problem. I've seen some formulas using gelatin, Arabic or xanthan gum, and makers starting to use materials like ElaZtech (proprietary), etc. Does anyone have a formula that they're using that works? All help is appreciated.
  3. You may be able to get that from their feedback. Look at their completed listings and see if there's any info there.
  4. There are a few on eBay too
  5. I'm a huge fan of the Blue Sky Boatworks 360 Angler. I think it's a Hobie Killer! I came across it looking for something to address my need to sit upright and kayak fish. The crowdfunding campaign for this was a killer. I've learned a lot after joining a Facebook forum and reading what other owners are doing with their boats. Lots of talk about modifications and feedback. I think the 360 will be my next purchase when the next generation comes out. I think this current model wasn't expected to do as well as it has. They've released the tri-cat (2 seater) model since. Also If you're concerned about weight or width, the pontoons do separate from the deck if needed. btw, Fishing University (tv show) did an episode on Jackson Kayaks division of Blue Sky Boatworks and highlighted the 360. I'm not a fan of the show because its' pretty much 30 minutes of pushing a corporate sponsored item, but this is one that I watched.
  6. Have you looked at Trapper Hooks? I've read great things about them. I'm considering a test this spring. I'll do a slow changeout if it performs as well as I'm seeing online.
  7. I've read a lot of these posts and it affirms my belief in eBay. If it isn't in the condition they've stated it to be, I get my money back with free return shipping (via a claim most times). I'm able to buy it or haggle at the price I want and walk away knowing another will be up soon. Honesty is paramount in almost everything. The seller wants top dollar for their stuff, and every buyer wants DollarTree prices. Haggle and protect yourself. I never send payment any other way other than Paypal for a fee unless I know them personally. Most other payment methods of payment don't protect for a transaction involving merchandise. Lastly, I apply one rule when I'm buying most of my gear and looking for a deal; if I don't like it, I try to sell it and recover as much as I can and minimize my losses.
  8. I found some waterproof locking (maintaining) led switches on eBay that look great. The Pelican 1400 looks perfect too. Thanks for your help.
  9. I found a deal for a couple Pelican 1400s yesterday and I wasn't sure if it would work. Thanks for the reply. I think everything will work. What is this plug? Are the binder posts the same as speaker binder posts? I think I found it. Is it the SAE plug?
  10. That looks great. What size Pelican case did you use? Are the switches siliconed in place for waterproofing? I'm looking to undertake a build myself. I'm thinking of using some push button switches that I've found on eBay.
  11. Thank you very much.
  12. If you're installing a swing arm over the side to hold the transducer in the water; I learned that anchor trolleys on both sides won't work. The line will pull on the swing arm and possibly move the position of the transducer or damage it. I purchased a kayak earlier this year and took to YouTube prior to purchase (and after) to see kayak fishing in action and some commendation. This isn't my video, but it was very helpful.
