  3. I don't have any problem bombing s-wavers. Great setup for me. There are numerous swimbait rods out there for every budget. Just do a little research. G Loomis, Dobyns 806, Okuma guide select, Irod genesis, Huddleston deluxe & savage gear are only a few as well as some great custom sticks.
  4. Greetings. Made the move to big swimbaits this year. I use a 8' Daiwa DX XH with a Shimano Tranx 301A & 20lb sufix tritranium & sometimes izorline xxx super co-poly. The baits I throw are river2sea 168 s-wavers, g-ratt sneaky Petes, Hudd 68s & Hudd 8" trout, 8" magdrafts, savage gear 3D shine glides & pulsetail trouts. This big swimbait thing can get very crazy as there are $400 lures out there (roman made mother) & $150 topwater rats. You have to be prepared mentally to meet the skunk on some days but on some days quality is much better than quantity.

  8. Looking for a hard jerkbait bass rod for 100, 115 size pointers, shad raps and rogues in the $!00-120 range using 10lb fc sniper. Have narrowed it down to a couple like St Croix bass-x 6'6 MF bxc66mf or Powell inferno 6104 6'10 M. Will consider others in the same price range. I have a daiwa fuego ct 8:1 that the bait monkey demands that I do something with. Thanks.
