I'm new to the forum and been reading alot of post about $100 range rods and reels I was curious what the $500 rods and reels people like. Personally I have a 3-daiwa tatula 3 CT ,3-Lew's,speed spools, 1-pfleuger president,1-Kast king speed demon with Dobyns fury rods.

If you had a $1,000 to spend on rod and reel for Texas rigged baits what would you get?

The door I think fishing has opened for all of us is becoming part of nature.

If I was buying my first setup with a $200 budget, I would highly recommend a Dobyns fury 7ft med action spinning rod with Daiwa bg spinning reel.

I normally use Stanley ribbits and have caught really good quality bass with it, not quantity but definitely quality,but ive had so much success with rage craw and rage smokin rooster I figured I would try a few packs of rage toad and rage shad,but yum tip toad is in my TW shopping cart once I go thru all those LoL!!

Rebel pop r, 7ft med action spinning rod,10lb braid and hold on !!!!!
