  1. I got one quantum smoke upgraded the bearings love that reel.
  2. I've used them in past alot and they caught alot of fish for me, I think the profile size was why they ate it but they are very cheaply made constantly bending them back into shape to run true, got a few fish out of one of them unless it was a big fish than it was one and done I've had snakeheads and mudfish absolutely destroy them beyond repair.
  3. I got rid of my Dobyns and switched to Ark
  4. ESE r great polarized sunglasses and are only $60 if you need to replace lens from being scratched or want to change color it's only $20 ?

  7. X2 no doubt big bass bait it don't catch fish it catches hawgs
  8. That really seems to be the most important thing is to keep slack in the line,I think I'm taking up too much slack and popping it to hard but with spook it's perfect
  9. Guess there's no right or wrong way, seems reason it was made was to get in heavy cover not walk the dog I'm sure that came way after
  10. Guess I'm getting to hung up on it most of time I'm throwing it in pads, sounds like what your saying as long as it's moving it's got a chance if getting inhaled?
  11. Need your opinion,I can walk a spook very easily but I have a really hard time walking a frog. The spook first time I tried it was like I've been doing it my whole life.
  12. I was wondering what's your favorite bluegill swimbaits?
  13. Florida fishing can be very challenging the consensus always seems to be the fish jump in the boat by the hundreds and that can happen but you gotta pay your dues and spend alot of time on water, but the potential is there for insane days, alot of fishing pressure in Florida,so these bass aren't stupid. Alot of guys will say throw in the heaviest cover u can and that's great advice cause that will produce but sometimes you gotta think outside the box and try different approaches my best advice is if you are having problems locating fish, join a local bass club, fishing with local guys you will learn alot about those areas and make new friends.
  14. It boils down to how thick of cover are u going to be pitching to, light to moderate cover 4 power is fine, heavy cover 5 or 6 power than decide how long of a rod you like7'0 ,7'3,7'4 the lighter the power the softer the tip I found .
  15. I fished out of a Jon boat with just a trolling motor for many years caught alottttt of great fish out of it cause I went to spots no bigger boats could put in at?, 3 years ago I got a great deal on an old but mint fiberglass boat cost me $2500 from an older gentleman that kept it in his garage, used it maybe 3 or 4 x a year was moving back to Canada and didn't want to bring it. When shopping for a boat patience is the key.
  16. Dobyns champion series hard to beat for $200
  17. It's weird, maybe it's me but I prefer mono or a fluorcarbon hybrid, for me I just handle it better maybe because I grew up using mono
  18. Just curious why not braid?
  19. For me, fluorcarbon just handles and performs better ill look into that seaguar thanks!
  20. I fish in south Florida and alottttt of guys use braid I'm one of them. But lately I've ventured out from using braid and started using fluorcarbon as my own experiment, now obviously I can't pitch my baits in heavy vegetation with fluorcarbon but been using on the outskirts of it and noticed a few things number one I really enjoy using fluorcarbon, I seem to be landing more fish, I think because it's less visible and I feel the strikes better with fluorcarbon but the biggest thing I noticed when using braid it's so strong and doesn't have any stretch alot of times I was pulling the bait right out of the fishes mouth. Now there are still some techniques I will continue to use braid, frogging, flipping. Wanted to know if anyone else had similar experiences between braid and fluorcarbon. Thanks for reading!
  21. I've caught alot of fish on that smoking rooster so many different ways, flipping it, swimming it,buzzing it on top, great bait!!!
  22. I start @ 1/8 oz than let the bass tell me how fast they want the fall, unless it's windy than I will start heavier.
