  1. @TOXIC 🙂Thank you for sharing. I know you fish many places from your posts and assumed you fish specific baits/colors depending on locations. Knowing you are pretty close to myself and seeing those 955's they caught me(and hopefully some bass in the future) looking like a potential great color for some places I like to throw senko's. Baitmonkey will be pleased👍
  2. @TOXIC, the Baitmonkey is whispering to me to find out what color that is in the three rows of consecutive darker senko's you have in the first picture, if you don't mind sharing. Is it a 955 or 956 perhaps?🤑🤓
  3. This^^^, have had much success using these.
  4. Dang it, fat fingered the post above trying to get my ducks in a row. I fish finesse presentations on my local small creeks with light wire hooks a majority of the time. I use a 6'6" Med Fast rod and a do very well hooking up and landing. I don't think that you need a longer rod but that would be more of a personal choice/dictated by the waters you are using it on. I do believe as others said that a possible source of your issue may lie in your moderate action rod. Don't underestimate the importance of sharp hooks, check your hooks often and carry a small sharpening file to touch them up when needed.
  5. I bought a shallow spool last year to replace the stock spool on my Tatula LT2500, it is paired up to my dedicated small creek wading rod. I'm not usually bombing casts on this setup on these smaller creeks so I don't need a massive spool of line, but that was mostly just myself trying to justify buying a trick spool, whatever you gotta do ?
  6. Funny, I just recently purchased a main drive gear and the nut for my 6500C3 that I boofed up trying to swap a power handle on it. I looked at ereplacement parts but they no longer had the nut available as it was discontinued for some reason. I ended up going through https://www.fishingreelparts.com/, a authorized dealer on the ABU site, they had both parts, good price and fast shipping, would not hesitate to order again through them if I were to need more parts. Ordered 6/23 and received it 6/26, I live in Virginia.
  7. ^This. 99% positive that I watched a video with Gary Yamamoto saying that he prefers the 3/0 on spinning gear. If the man himself prefers it then I figure it's gotta be good and it has been in my experience so far.
  8. baits.com, manufacturer site.
  9. Awesome brother, thanks!
  10. Where was this deal? TackleWarehouse? Email only special customer sale? I like these and have never seen them that low.
  11. I've never paid attention to when I start wading each spring, I go when I can't take it anymore and need to get after some smallies. Just a two days ago was that time.......a bit cold at first this early but you usually get used to it. Makes a difference too if you have some nice spots to go where the water doesn't reach certain body parts ?
  12. ^ This without a doubt but for the accidental injuries and kills, sometimes, rarely, but sometimes I will keep cats and stocked trout to put on a plate. Another that lands right next to this is litter at darn near every fishing spot you go to anymore....I don't understand that mentality. I try keeping a plastic grocery bag in my tackle backpack when bank fishing or wading so I can pick up some of what others leave behind. These people have room to take it with them wherever they are going they oughta have room to take it with them when they leave, hell it is even lighter for them on the way out! Frustrating.
